"I really love this place! It’s elegant, classy, and classic, yet also very comfortable. The room and the scenery give off a nice overseas vibe. The price is a bit on the higher side, but honestly, it’s worth it. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a public park where you can take a walk or do activities with your family. Plus, the hotel is near a 7-Eleven, so you can just walk over to grab food instead of driving if you’re feeling lazy. Overall, I really recommend this place!"

"The surroundings are very peaceful and serene and perfect if you’re looking for a quiet escape from the city. Rooms were clean, staff were polite, and the stay overall was comfortable. However, because of the age and ambience, it can feel a little creepy, especially at night. Personally, I even felt like I got kena kacau a bit during my stay. It wasn’t anything major, but it did add to the eerie vibe of the place. If you enjoy calm, quiet environments and don’t mind a slightly spooky atmosphere, this hotel is still worth considering."

"A relatively new and modern hotel compared to other options in Cameron Highlands. Located in the middle of Tanah Rata, it offers great convenience via walking distance to most shops and eateries. A covered walkway is provided just a few steps from the main lobby but take note it's on a steep slope. For those driving, a free covered parking is provided as well. The king size room is spacious enough for a couple. Balcony is also huge, offering a great view of the town and the mountains in the background. However a small outdoor table and couple of chairs would've been perfect here. We are happy with the room on initial impression since everything looks new and clean. However upon more detailed inspection it seems the toilet was not thoroughly cleaned. There's several dark mold spot and leftover foam spots on the walls and shower screen. There's also a weird odour (like damp) lingering in the shower area. It seems the provided ventilation is not sufficient, since I only noticed an extraction fan at the toilet bowl area but not the shower area (They are separated). I was also planning to use the kettle on the 2nd day but was shocked to see some rust forming in the spout. Considering this hotel is quite new, the maintanence and upkeeping is a bit concerning. It would be a bit of a shame if no improvement was done considering this hotel is in a great location and it offers a modern interior compared to other options within the area. Service by the staffs are great. No complaints here. There's also in room dining service provided but we didn't bother since it's too overpriced for simple local dishes or even a bottle water (RM11 for a 500ml bottle of water!). We would just walk to the town for cheaper and better options. In the end, I would still consider this hotel for my next stay in Cameron Highlands since it offers a modern interior and convenient location. However the clealiness and detailed upkeeping needs to be improved."

The hotel is clean, beautiful, and extremely cold the natural weather in Cameron makes it even more refreshing, so you might not even need the fan or air conditioning. The décor is slightly old fashioned, but it doesn’t feel worn out or musty. Instead, it gives off a classic and elegant vibe, which adds character to the stay. Staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Facilities are good and well maintained, matching what you’d expect from a quality stay. Do note that the hotel requires a deposit of RM200 upon check in, so it’s good to prepare that beforehand. Overall, Hotel De La Ferns is a great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and cozy place with a touch of classic charm in Cameron Highlands. Definitely worth considering for both families and couples ＜3"

"We had a pleasant and comfortable stay . The inn is clean and well maintained,, with a cosy pantry thrown in . One thing which would hv been good would be that our room had been provided with a bench for our luggage ."

"Tekoma Resort is a bit like being at home. We immediately had fantastic communication with Sophia the girl who works at the reception. She was very kind, always ready to answer all our questions with a wonderful smile. She organized our pick up at the bus station on the day of our arrival. The structure is located uphill but they have a shuttle service and in any case it only takes 7 minutes on foot to go down to the center and a few more minutes to go back up. Very close to trail number 10 and 6 too. Mr Chan gave us all the information necessary to move independently in the Cameron Highlands. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the shuttle service boy. He was always smiling too. The breakfast was excellent, especially for those like me who love savory (there is everything) Kettle in the room and refill water available in the corridors. I highly recommend it."

"Had a great time at this boutique hotel. It’s relatively new and adopt a very interesting design concept. They only have 10 rooms I think. The landscaping around the hotel was really nice. The location of this place is in Tanah Rata, so it’s not as crowded as Brinchang, also it’s not as congested in terms of traffic. You only get one car park per room. It’s situated right at the end of the street, quite secluded and very private. There’s no one waiting during check in, basically, you text a number and someone comes out to give you keys to your room and ask for breakfast selection for the following morning. All communication was done through the WhatsApp. We also asked for extra towels and shampoo, owners were very courteous and generous. Felt very safe for my family with young children could just roam around freely. In terms of amenities, there’s no swimming pool or gym facilities. But there’s a place to do bbq and gather in the common area. They give you the auto gate lock if you were to drive out and come back late at night, you can allow yourself in and lock the gate yourself. In the morning you can hear very loud bird chirping. The air was very fresh! But we were awoken by the loud noise of grass trimming from next door, some government office. There’s also a dormitory next door and you can hear evening prayers. Nearby, there’s a lot of shops and restaurants whereby you will find no problems settling your meals, about 5 mins walk down to the Main Street. Just a few things to note : - There’s a lot of stairs and if you have elderly in your entourage, it is not very convenient getting to the room. You may ask for ground floor rooms of course. The stairs worked super well for my children though, they just enjoyed going up and down so much! - We booked loft rooms. The toilet and bath tub is located next to the main door. It’s open concept, meaning if you were to take a shower at night or go to toilet, it’s going to be cold. - The beds are on the top floor, so if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night, you have to walk down the stairs. - The bathtub and shower design is not so convenient for young children or elderly. - Breakfast comes in very cute tiffin boxes. They place it outside your door around 8 plus. However, I always couldn’t catch their delivery on time, and most times the food is rather cold already. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay very much. I think would very suitable for young couples, and groups of young travelers."
