"Room is old classic style but a major renovation is required. Saw a monkey in our block D entrance area, then there is a big insect lying on the living room curtain after we check in. I got bitten by the insect when try to catch it and my finger start to get painful, the housekeeping staff saw it and immediately call medical team to come and apply some cream on the scar, and the staff told me if it get worse later, he will call reception and arrange transport for me to visit a clinic, which is responsible manner from the hotel. I personally appreciate it.
The good side is the hotel own a huge space which contain a good mix of facilities, even there is a mini zoo near the reception. We kind of like the mini zoo as it’s the first time my daughter saw a goose and parrot. The seafood restaurant serves decent seafood and other dishes. Of course it’s a bit pricey comparing outside.
What we don’t like is the lift location which not every block entrance comes with a lift, only certain location which you need to explore on the map. The floor is confusing also depend on which loft you use, as the ground is not even which will makes your room level differ between different lift. I mean it is my first time encounter such scenario. A bit special. Somehow the hotel room layout remind of my university hostel.
Overall it’s a ok stay for our families."

"I had an exceptional stay at Four Points By Sheraton Desaru.
The staff were courteous and attentive to our needs. They were always smiling and greeting us, no matter what time it is.
The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with all modern amenities. The gym, sauna and swimming pool were working well. The gym has good machines.
Housekeeping was awesome and catered to all my requests.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the quiet environment ensured a restful sleep.
We had a breakfast buffet and it was delicious with a lot of variety.
The location was not too bad —walking distance to a mall, restaurants and shops.
There was a shuttle bus service to the beach and we took it.
The reception staff also helped us with taxi service to JB town and were very helpful with our queries about Desaru.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking quality, comfort, and excellent service!"

"This resort is value-for-money. The family suite came with 2 bedrooms and a rather spacious hall (with aTV, a sofa, coffee table, dining table with 6 chairs, sink, and a mid-sized refrigerator). The walls look freshly painted. The mattresses were nice and firm. Just that the bedsheets smelled a bit musty, although clean. ( I think the hotel needs to change the detergent.) There was 1 wardrobe in each room, and a TV in one of them. Generally clean and pleasant. There were 3 swimming pools. Private beach was clean, waters near the shore were surprisingly clear, and we even sighted some zebra-fishes and jellyfish. There were lots of little crabs on the beach. All these should be indicators that pollution levels should be low. It was a pleasant stay overall. Just wished there were more indoor things to do (e.g. bowling) during rainy weather."

"I will say this unit is a excellent choice. There is also a great varieties of books for us to read. The Internet is OK. The Aircon is very cold. The water dispenser is very good. The coffee powder given is splendid. There is also washer and dryer included the washing powder overall is ready. Great experience. I will come back to this particular unit if it’s possible."

LLuckyL GWe had an excellent experience at the hotel, celebrating my child's birthday. Despite the long travel distance, we enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The hotel staff went above and beyond by decorating our room with a ”Pokemon” theme and preparing a lovely cake. When they learned about my child's nut allergy, the hotel manager arranged for a new cake to be made, which was incredibly thoughtful.

1. **Air Conditioning Problems** – The air conditioning did not cool effectively, even when set to 16°C. Despite adjusting the settings, the room remained uncomfortably warm, which affected sleep quality and overall comfort.
2. **Inconvenient Seaview Room Design** – One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for a Seaview experience. However, every time we opened the balcony sliding door, the air conditioning automatically shut off. While this might be an energy-saving measure, it was frustrating to deal with. Each time we returned inside, we had to manually restart the air conditioning, disrupting our relaxation.
3. **Unpleasant Basement Parking** – The basement parking had a strong, unpleasant odor, making it uncomfortable to walk through. Additionally, the overall atmosphere was eerie and unsettling, which might not be ideal for guests arriving late at night.
4. **Location Concerns** – The hotel is located next to an abandoned building, which negatively impacts the surroundings. The parking area is shared, which may lead to congestion or security concerns. The presence of the abandoned structure further adds to the feeling of neglect in the area.

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this resort is quite unique and has a beautiful view, and the room is warming ❤️ and nice Lakeview but maybe really bad luck is first day I stay no water coming, can't use water at all for few hours, then next day 🥶 water pump in is brow color Abit sad after flushing 1 hour plus water still Abit greyness. But overall this place is nice just maybe we are not lucky. night time will be a bit scary because quite a lot of wild animals suddenly appear. hopefully next time could be better.
