As our newest property, Villa Serena is well on it's way to catching up!Villa Serena is a new home that was designed to be your tranquil oasis.It is decorated in the colors of the sun, sand and sea. All the cabinets and furniture in the home were locally made which gives the house an authentic Mexican feel. Every item in the house is BRAND NEW and was carefully chosen to create a beautiful, serene space. Villa Serena is a second tier home which means it is not a beach front property but is located in the second row across a small dirt road. In fact, it is only 68 short steps from the house to the beach access path. Because of the way Villa Serena was built, it's terraces sit higher than the beach front homes and provide absolutely gorgeous views of the Sea of Cortez from every room of the house. The house is even close enough to the water to have the sounds of the sea fill the terraces and home during high tide.Villa Serena is located in Section 8 of Las Conchas which is close to the entrance of the community. Las Conchas has 24 hour security and the guards make hourly rounds of the roads and beach.Villa Serena has 3 bedrooms (which sleep seven guests) and 3 bathrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a queen size bed. They also have an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a sliding glass door that leads to the terrace. Bedroom 3 has both a queen size and a twin size bed as well as a large window. The third bathroom is in the hallway between the great room and bedroom 3 and also has a shower. There is a queen size sleeper sofa that can sleep guests 8 and 9.All of the bedrooms have brand new mini split air conditoner/heaters so that each room can independently controlled and set to your desired comfort level. They also have memory foam mattresses, high quality bedding, ceiling fans, blackout curtains, reading lights and extra blankets. We provide towels, hair dryers, toilet paper, tissues, travel size shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap in all the bathrooms.The open concept great room has gorgeous views of the Sea of Cortez and a one of a kind artisanal brick domed ceiling called a Boveda. There is a beautiful love seat and sofa and a locally crafted dining table. In addition, there are two very powerful, remote controlled ceiling fans and a 55" flat screen TV with DirecTV and the premium movie channels.The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. It has a huge, family sized refrigerator which can accommodate larger groups or longer stays. The brand new appliances include a dishwasher, a glass cooktop oven, a microwave, a coffee maker (both traditional filter type and K-cup), a blender, a toaster and a Brita water filtration pitcher with cold water upon your arrival. There is also a gorgeous marble seating bar at the kitchen island with three stools. Villa Serena has two terrace levels that have stunning views of the sea. The main terrace has access from the great room and two of the bedrooms. It also has a great amount of shade, a propane BBQ, a fire pit and a variety of different seating options. The upper terrace or margarita deck as it is called in Mexico has even better views of the sea.While out on the terraces, you will be treated to unobstructed views of Rocky Point’s spectacular sunsets. At night, the show of stars in the sky is absolutely breathtaking! As an added bonus, the margarita deck has a 360 degree view of the sky. You will see in the photos that there is a nice area of sand at the top of the beach which is great for walking the miles of shoreline. Beyond the sandy section, the terrain is the rocky type of beach that Rocky Point is known for. If you plan on swimming, you will need to bring water shoes.
