"Really nice location to go Aquarium. Clean and easy check in process. Plently of parking next to hotel for free for guests.
Unfortunately we go during early Jan winter time so the outdoor pool is closed, but the indoor heated pool is reasonable size for kids to play and change room inside to change it.
The room is spacious and clean ♡ ♡ our futon bedding kids ♡ ♡ it.
When check in they gave us 2 sets of kids toiletries bags (kids slipper, tooth brush, and small face towel) to keep.
The sunset view from my room is so beautiful and theres tea/ coffee machine, kettle to use in room. Different type of jap glass cups for toiletries. Bath tub in shower room bonus point.
The only down side is I wish the breakfast has more choices(eg. Cooked vege) stayed for 2 nights felt not much difference.
For location i recommend to stay here as its near aquarium. Not much restaurants nearby so either finish dinner outside or buy bentos/instant noodles to bring into hotel."

"A very nice and clean hotel. When we asked if we could have a room with a sea view, we got it straight away. The view was so fantastic. The hotel is very big and if you are not so good on your feet, you should book a room with a mountain view. The walk to the Ocean Tower is very long and takes a while to get there. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious. The beds were comfortable, but unfortunately the bathroom was not that big. At one point there was a bag with towels in front of our room and we were told to take the bag into the room. Unfortunately, this bag remained in the room until we left and was not emptied. In the hotel you can go shopping, do your laundry and play with claw machines. There is also something for dog owners."

"We had a great stay. We stayed 3 nights the first time and came back for another 3 nights. Hotel is close to Kadena AB. We were stationed there back in the late 80s and early 90s. Excellent breakfast. Attentive staff. We enjoyed the complimentary performance of Okinawan dance. We also hung out at the izakaya to listen to music. Hotel is beautiful. Loved it!"

The environment is very good, the room is big enough, and it feels like you are in Japan with its ”hetami location”, and there are 2 large beds that are comfortable. There is also a terrace with a sea view, which makes me happy. The toilet and shower room are separate and the hygiene level is very good. The location is a bit troublesome. There is no problem when going out, but you must follow the GPS when returning to the hotel, otherwise you will not be able to get back to the hotel.
There are not many types of breakfast but the taste is okay.
The staff are very polite and helpful
I hope I can go there again next time if I have the chance."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Orion Hotel in Motobu during my trip to Okinawa. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short distance from popular attractions like the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and the beautiful Emerald Beach. The room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. I particularly loved the balcony, which offered a stunning view of the sea—perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided made my stay even more convenient.

"This is the second time to stay with this hotel in 2 years.
Location: 8/10 The hotel is located in the middle of Okinawa Island in Onna area. It takes around 50-55 mins drive from Naha airport. Some local restaurants and Lawson can be found around 5-10 walk around hotel. Nothing wrong with the location as we selected it.
Service: 10/10 Booked the club lounge access with the express check in and snack time during the day. No words to describe its service as the smiles are everywhere and always be welcomed by everyone in the hotel. To highlight one thing that we needed a screwdriver to open a small cover of my son’s toy, the team was so good to fine one for me which I do not think a hotel needs to help me for a request like that.
Facilities: 9/10 The outdoor swimming pools were closed due to the weather.
Room Size: 10/10 The room size is excellent, more than enough for a family with a fantastic sea view, as you can see in the picture.

The on-site dining options were excellent, with a high-quality restaurant serving delicious, locally-sourced cuisine. I also made good use of the well-equipped fitness center and reliable, fast WiFi. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would not hesitate to book with your hotel again in the future. The combination of outstanding service and top-notch facilities made for a wonderfully comfortable and productive visit.

GGuest UserI drove to the hotel, although the location is inconspicuous, but the environment is very good, the hall can look at the sunset and endless sea views. There are cooking facilities, if you are traveling by car there is a large supermarket nearby where you can buy something to cook yourself, and the distance to Nago is not far, there are enough restaurants in the area to choose from. Overall experience is good, but it is recommended not to choose to come during hurricane season, otherwise there will be ** annoying.

JJoyThe location and facilities inside the room are nice, however, the customer service is not ideal. It is normally assumed that after booking a hotel online with a booking confirmation, all necessary information is already on the confirmation letter. However, travelers who stay at this property will still have to actively reach out to the hotel for check-in ID in order to do self-check-in via iPad. It would be great if the hotel could reach out to the traveler before their check-in.
What's even worse is that during the check-in process, we did a face-to-face meeting via iPad, and there was no information provided by the staff that we would need a password to enter the hotel after certain hours. After dinner outside, when we returned to the hotel, we were locked outside the hotel, and luckily, we were able to call the Japanese phone number via the public phone. It would have been a nightmare if there had been no public phone or if no one from the hotel had picked up the phone.

CChing Yee JeannyThis is a beautiful resort hotel. I like the room, the service, the breakfast and the hotel surroundings.
Staff at the front desk are so warm and helpful. When we notify them there's a problem with the bathroom door, the repairman is there within 5 minutes to fix it.
The breakfast buffet has such a large spread, Okinawan, western, Japanese and the English tea is of very high quality.
The hotel is only a short distance to Cape Manzamo and Cape Zanpa and also not a long drive to Churaumi Aquarium, so the location is quite convenient if you want to visit these places. There's a big parking lot within walking distance for the hotel guests.
I wish that I can return to this hotel some time in the future.

GGuest UserWe brought our 3+ years old boy on a 2 night stay during golden week (May 2024) and opted in for a dinner buffet on the first night. It was 2200 yen per adult n foc for my boy. The spread was limited but worth all its penny as the beef was so tender and juicy so i feasted on it. All other dishes were also very good.
The private beach was convenient and the water was so clear it looked like mineral water. There was a 50% discount voucher you can get from the hotel reception for the banana boat ride at the private beach and our boy enjoyed this and another ride. The young instructor who pulled us out on a jet ski for our water rides was friendly and went at a good speed for our 3 year old who was doing the water actitivties for the first time without us having to tell him to do so. He even went to the coral reefs and picked up a starfish n a sea cucumber to show our boy before returning it back to the sea. The water activites was affordable with the discount, price similar to Msia/Thailand/Indonesia resorts i have been to.
I was apprehensive booking this resort after reading the reviews on the state of the hotel showing signs of aging. However, the place was well maintained. There was an unpleasant smell when i opened the door to our room but its actually just the tatami which needed some airing. After opening the windows to let in the natural breeze, all was good. Cleaniness for toilet was good too; just need to figure out the temp control for the shower. The onsite onsen was clean and easily accessible at the basement, and wld have cost us at least 1200yen for a visit to a public onsite iin naha.
Totally recommend this resort for a fam outing with young children. I understand they have barrier free access rooms on the first floor of the resort so there were some families with elderly too.

GGuest UserThe white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch.
The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay.

田田貓旅旅Wood Pecker Nakijin is a lovely place. The hotel rooms was converted from old train compartments which made them so special. It was like staying in a real trailer! Free SPA is provided that adds a plus to it. Moreover, the beach is just behind the hotel, it takes only few minutes to walk there.
One thing I believe Wood Pecker Nakijin needs to improve is the water temperature for shower. It was unstable during my whole stay there.
P.S. Nakijin Castle Ruins is so close to the hotel, it takes only about 10 minutes for driving and within 30 minutes walking distance from Wood Pecker Nakijin. If you stay in Nakijin Village, make sure you go there, It is worth seeing!

TTezpezMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Ocean Resort PMC. The location is convenient if you have diving plans, with the diving drop-off point right next to the hotel. There's also a surf and diving shop and school below where you can ask about lessons and equipment. Although we had already booked our diving elsewhere, it was just an 8-minute drive away, and they even drove us back to the hotel, which was a bit amusing.
Overall, the stay was fair, but there are a few things to note. After 11 AM, the elevator is not available, and the parking lot is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, there's a 24/7 convenience store just across the street, which is very handy. The ground floor has a washing machine that all guests can use. After 11 PM, you have to use the stairs, which can be a bit scary as there's no light. The hotel has a kitchen, but it lacks basic utensils.
For the price, I felt like I could have picked somewhere better, but the location and amenities were decent enough for our needs.
