The drinks in the restaurant are all above 3JD, which is equivalent to 30 yuan for a bottle of Coke, and a plate of the simplest pasta costs more than 100 yuan. If you If you want to exchange money, the exchange rate given by the hotel is much lower than outside, because the hotel is in the desert, unless you are driving a four-wheel drive SUV, don't follow the navigation to drive inside! There is their meeting point at the motorway exit closest to the hotel, park there and let them pick you up! I was so focused on driving that I didn’t notice this, and as a result, I drove the car into the desert and ran aground according to the navigation. I called them to ask them to rescue them, but they insisted that I send them the location by WhatsApp. I said I didn’t even have it. How to send it to you! I explained several times that I used googlemap to get here from Petra, and now I am 10 minutes away from you, which is 4.7 kilometers away (Figure 4). After more than an hour, I gave up waiting and started hiking in the desert for more than one kilometer. I found a car and rescued me. Because that afternoon I also arranged to see the performance on the train (included in the Jordan pass), which is actually not far from their meeting place. I want to pick up and drop off at the hotel because I don’t dare to drive anymore. They I asked for 40JD in cash, and I didn’t allow it to be recorded in the room. We really enjoyed our stay at UFO Luxotel. One thing to note is that the hotel is not within the Wadi Rum protected area, so it is about 5 minutes drive to the main gate. The hotel does have some partnership with the local bedouins who can take you on a desert or camel tour, but it is better to liaise with the local bedouin on your own. The bubble tents are really nice, made of plastic, comes with a standing shower, washbasin and a comfortable bed. There is air conditioning inside the tent. Outside the tent, there is a hammock and some chairs. At night, the weather in the desert can get quite cold so we enjoyed the special fur blanket provided in the room. There was a stargazing photography course but we did not sign up for it. The food was absolutely delicious, from the dinner with local dishes and underground baked lamb, to the breakfast buffet. Since our tent was quite far from the entrance, there was a buggy to send us to our room. But on the day of the checkout, after calling reception, the buggy took a bit longer than expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the desert in these luxury tents, and the price was affordable.

Nice camp with friendly staff. I think it was only me and two other guests at the camp so the staff was very attentive and accommodating. Dinner was 12JOD. it was really good. Breakfast was average. Bonfire at night and different activities to partake it. I did the 2 hour sunrise tour for 25JOD. It was ok. Watched the sunset, stopped at a castle(extra fee to enter), a rock and a souvenir shop and had tea. The tour guide let me drive the truck back and he did a great job taking photos and videos

The boss is very nice! The room is also super big, very clean and comfortable, and you can see the starry sky from the door. The food was super generous at every meal, each bowl was bigger than my hand, and the people were very enthusiastic. They helped me contact the driver to Petra and sent me to the visitor center. Take the initiative to give lots of cold water every time. The boss is also very nice to talk to. He said that if there are many people, they will have a bonfire party and sing and dance together, but since I was the only one that day, it was a pity that I didn’t experience it.

Very beautiful and scenic. Iconic areas that you can see for movie sets like Star Wars, The Martian and the ever epic Lawrence of Arabia. The camp food is excellent, especially for dinner and the service is excellent. Although room amenities and cleanliness can and could be improved.
