"This lodge was absolutely gorgeous and had amazing panoramic views from the ocean to the top of Mt. Rinjani. The garden is lush and colorful and full of butterflies, dragonflies and swifts. Staff were very kind to us and the food was generally yummy though somewhat expensive compared to other restaurants nearby. The resort is an easy walk to the nearby waterfalls as well as Rinjani trailhead, but there is not much around the area. Swimming pools were nice. Our showers didn't have much water pressure and we could only get hot water to work in one bathroom. The rooms are nicely designed though and comfortable.
The only criticism I have about the dining is that they charged us for waters at meals when the water was free for guests if we just filled up our own bottles. Also, i would suggest that the staff empty out decorative containers that collect water as we saw some mosquito larvae inside them."

"A hotel with bamboo huts, located directly on the beach, it is necessary to take into account that these are real bamboo houses, i.e. there is no air conditioning (they can provide an additional fan), soundproofing (you will hear the ocean and neighbors), windows (bamboo shutters), hot water. If all this suits you, then the place is just great, the beach is empty, there are scooters in the hotel, the issue of entertainment and travel can also be solved, there is a restaurant, the friendly staff always tries to solve your problem"

"The view is chic. Bed is comfortable. The only thing is a problem with hot water. The water was hard enough for one person. The second never waited until it warmed up.
The staff is very polite, everything we needed has been received. There is a restaurant on the territory. The food is delicious.
The air conditioner is not in the house, it was not hot in the evening, only the fan was turned on. It was normal."

"Excellent hotel for the price. The room was modern and clean with a balcony looking over the ocean and you could relax and hear the waves. The room is very large and the bed is comfortable. Just know if you are not there for the marina there isn't much around. But it was a very comfortable place to stay until my ferry to Bali the next morning. Only a 15 minute motorbike ride to the ferry terminal."

"The service is excellent👍. This is my fourth time in Lombok. I choose different hotels every time. Everyone's service is very good. But The Oberoi's service is really excellent, with explanations, tours, and various rich activities♥️
The hotel's location and scenery are invincible, especially the sunset, swimming pool, and coconut trees, which are a beautiful painting against each other. I stayed for 2 nights and chased the sunset twice. It was a visual and spiritual enjoyment and shock.
Food, let's talk about dinner first. It is really the best food I have eaten in Lombok so far. From the presentation to the taste, it is very consistent with the hotel's tone, especially the crab appetizer (I don't remember the name). Breakfast is not a buffet. You can order what you want to eat from the menu. The most important thing is that we checked out. The breakfast reservation on the day was at 5 o'clock. The restaurant did not provide a simple breakfast box, but a very ceremonial room service, which was exactly the same as the standard of dining in the restaurant. It was really good.
Finally, for me personally, the peak experience is the meditation 🧘♀️ activity. In a space surrounded by green energy, facing the sea, calmly following the teacher's guidance, sending signals to the universe 📶, moving and happy, super amazing 👍"

"We loved this hotel in every way, it was in the most perfect location, incredibly quiet, on the most perfect tropical beach, with the most stunning swimming pools.
The rooms were amazing large and with an extremely comfortable bed, we adored our large outdoor bathroom with the round circular bath and overhead rain fall shower.
This hotel was our favourite place to stay so far with its beauty, antiques all over the grounds and in the most idealic setting.
The staff were incredibly attentive, kind and thoughtful.

__WeChat259344****Kuno Villa is relatively old, and the environment is very good. It is a traditional Indonesian-style villa. I stayed in a two-bedroom pool villa with my parents. There were frogs visiting the door at night. Breakfast was a la carte. Order it in advance in the evening and communicate the delivery time. You can choose floating breakfast, which is not the best value for money on the island, but fortunately it has local characteristics. It rained for two days on T Island. When it rains, there is a power outage. When there is a power outage, there is no Internet. It is quite wild to soak in the swimming pool and read a book. of.
Facilities: Old, but very artistic, the bed is very comfortable, the fan remote control always fails haha
Hygiene: Clean, but because it is a villa, there are many bugs and animals
Environment: very chill, suitable for relaxing, relatively far from the party bar, quiet at night
Service: The staff are very polite. After check-in, they will give you a map of the island, use bicycles for free, and can arrange snorkeling in the sea.

AAisha SamadRoyal Avila was incredible—easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Although we had activities planned for our 3-day, 2-night stay, we ended up spending most of our time at the hotel. I highly recommend staying in and making the most of the fantastic facilities, including the jacuzzi, spa, beach club, swimming pool, and gym. Special mention to Lola, Hafizin, Lalu, and Abdul Haq for their amazing service—they truly made our stay even more enjoyable. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, I was completely captivated. I will definitely be returning and would recommend it to all my friends and family.

We stayed at the one bedroom villa for four nights. The villa is beautiful, with a big private pool, kitchen, and sitting area. The room is open air, very well ventilated, with a mosquito net around the bed and a fan that blows directly on the bed from inside the net. There is even an AC unit behind the fan for extra comfort, although we found it unnecessary to use. The bathroom is clean and large with a freshwater shower and even hot water! I expected bugs would be a problem, but was surprised by how few were around. The staff brought breakfast to our villa each morning at the time we requested along with hot fresh coffee. (French press coffee. Not instant.) The staff even offered free laundry service for us! Aari, the staff member who catered to us during our stay, is passionate about vegan cooking and offered to give us cooking lessons during our stay.
All the staff spoke fluent English and another staff member mentioned he speaks French as well.
We could not have asked for a more perfect and restful location. Highly reccomend for couples or people looking to get away from the crowds. Please check this place out!

While the hotel's facilities are adequate and its location offers acceptable proximity to the port, the poor service we experienced did not justify the significantly higher price we paid for a supposedly four-star resort.
Specifically, the bidet in our assigned room was not functioning. When we reported this, a front office supervisor named Ute was demonstrably dishonest, claiming that all rooms had non-functional bidets due to a 'western style' and offering more toilet tissue as a solution. This excuse proved false when we checked several other rooms of the same type and found their bidets to be working perfectly. Upon confronting Ute with this discrepancy, she continued to deny her initial statement, offering unreasonable excuses and failing to provide any apology or resolution. It was only after escalating the issue to the Manager on duty that we were finally moved to another room with a functioning bidet. The fact that a HOTEL SUPERVISOR LIED to keep us in a room with a known issue while others were available is unacceptable.
Despite the convenient location, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the substandard service and lack of transparency. There are likely other establishments in the area that offer a far superior experience for the price.

GGuest UserDon’t believe the pictures in the advertisement! They don’t reflect reality. The pictures pretend that the hotel is at least a 4 * location. The truth is that this is not the case! It is located at a very poor area in mid of the island where local people burn their trash including plastic. The smell is disgusting it is everywhere, in your room also during night and it burns in your eyes. The hotel is run by a group of very young unprofessional boys and I would like to emphasise that they are really friendly, kind and helpful and try to do their best. They also prepare breakfast in a kitchen which is disgusting! Therefore, I preferred to have breakfast at a proper place even though breakfast was included. See the attached fotos to get an impression what expects you and better choose another hotel if you want to enjoy your holidays. I had to pay 400 € for 3 nights, it is not worth half the price. I tried to get a reimbursement but the hotel didn’t accept. They obviously see the hotel as a cash cow and not a place where their guest should feel comfortable. This was very frustrating! At the end Trip. com accepted my complaint and offered me help. My advice: Choose a hotel at the beach, there are so many!

GGuest UserMixed feelings — kind staff but disappointing overall.
First of all, a big thank you to the hotel staff, who were genuinely kind and attentive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the issue isn’t the people — it’s the property itself. The photos online look beautiful, but in reality, the finishes and details just don’t match the pictures. Everything feels a bit cheap and unfinished.
For example, the pool area has small sofas but no cushions, so you can’t really relax comfortably by the water. In the rooms, several things were off — cracked flooring, a broken window, missing door handles (you have to lock the door from inside or outside every time), and other small issues that really add up. Considering the price, it’s quite disappointing, especially when there are nicer hotels nearby for less money.
We stayed in the Villa Fuego, which, as you can see on Google Maps, is located right next to the road — meaning it’s noisy, with scooters constantly passing by. It completely breaks the idea of a quiet, romantic getaway in a “private villa.” It’s a real shame, because the staff do their best, but the overall experience doesn’t live up to the expectations or the price.
Sadly, despite the warm hospitality, we left feeling that this stay was not worth it.

NNomadic cyclistLoads of potential and most of the staff are friendly and try their best. The resort could focus on training their employees so that they can deliver services on a more higher level. They are able to do their jobs but it's very basic and doesn't fit the brand image that they are trying to portray. The food quality was not of high standard and when the hotel is not full they cold probably provide a set menu for breakfast. It may not be as good at first, but for reducing food wastage and food related health it could be beneficial. Our stomachs weren't happy when we ate at the resort because of this. For staff, you can empower your workforce by rather having a few people who are highly skilled but in a variety of areas. Maybe doing family weekends and have a kids club going to get younger families witih kids under 12 to come, as I feel like this is a great resort for young families since the beach is calm and the pools are set up like that. There is a massive area on the one side of the common area that could possibly have a play area with a little crafts centre going. The location is far from most places so if the resort focused on uplifting this would probably help a lot. It really has a lot of potential.

I've stayed at this hotel twice, opting for the modern rooms. While the location is excellent – across from the beach and near the harbor – my experience was marred by some issues.
Cleanliness was average, with signs that the room could benefit from a deep clean. I found mould in the fridge, dirt around the shelves, and a noticeable stain on the floor that was missed during mopping.
Unfortunately, my stay was further tainted by a dishonest staff member who intentionally overcharged me for an iced latte. When I questioned the price, she acknowledged it was expensive without correcting the issue. To make matters worse, she gave me the wrong change. The next day, another staff member quoted a significantly lower price for the same drink.
While most staff members were polite and helpful, the presence of at least one dishonest employee is concerning. The food was hit-or-miss, but the hotel's location and some friendly staff aren't enough to outweigh the negative experiences.
I'll think twice before staying here again, and I hope the hotel addresses these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.
