"Nice hotel tucked away a stone's throw from Deptford Bridge DLR station. Nothing really in the area other than a Co-op shop and takeout coffee shop so you'll likely be using the DLR to go to Cutty Sark for drinks and food etc.
Didn't mention I had to pay a £50 deposit for any add-ons. Still waiting for this to be returned after checkout.
Friendly staff and free warm cookie on check-in.
Room was decent but as a solo room rather cramped and a strange design with the bed in the middle of the room with a cupboard behind with a bathroom behind. Light switch and plugs on the side of this cupboard. Also a bit of noise from above.
Very good free WiFi and nice TV in room. Tea and coffee provided on an awkward kettle tray thing you need to somehow carry from behind the bed to the desk. Safe provided also. Desk also not ideal as you can't put your feet underneath properly as there's a shelf below. Aircon/heating decent but heater causes condensation on mirrors in wall. Rooms tidied and bed made every day which is nice.
Didn't try the bar as no price list in the room and looked very posh/expensive.
Overall a decent stay. I think someone needs to test run a stay in the room I stayed in though (room 1) just to see how unintuitive/awkward the room is. Would maybe stay again if cheap but would look for better location next time."

"Toilet Flush is not working properly. one button is spoiled ,the other one is very hard to press. Air conditioning doesn't have cool air,so the room is quite warm. Shower screen need improvement as water keep escaping into the dry area of the bathroom when showering ."

"A well located hotel 5 minutes from a DLR station a range of eating places locally although the hotel restaurant turned out to be a good option. helpful staff and a decent size room, but a bigger tv and a more modern shower would have added value to my 3 night stay "

"We booked this hotel mainly for using the spa facilities, but I’ve been kicked out from the pool area in the first day we arrived, they close the pool due to someone making 💩 in the pool. The staff was not helpful at all. We tried to get an entry for a different day to use the pool but they didn't want to give us another entry. I went to reception few times to ask them about the issues, but everyone was passing the responsibility to someone else!"

"Good location, many shops around, close to the station. There is almost no heating, so wear more clothes. The service is OK and relatively clean. Excessive energy saving and water saving is a problem that this type of hotel has to face."

"A great place with plenty of space. Check-in and check-out were both very easy. The apartment had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, a fridge, and a microwave. It was also very clean.
However, the curtains were not blackout at all, and both had some issues, making it even harder to block out light. It was very easy to be woken up by the sunlight in the morning.
But other than that, this place was really nice!"

Great
GGuest UserExcellent location, 6-10 mins walk over to the O2. Rooms was clean and breakfast options was good too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will stay again
KKamariehFor us the hotel was quite good. We were there 3 nights.
Greenwich station is less than 2 minutes away and takes you to the centre.
Overall the hotel was clean.
The staff was nice.
Unfortunately, the breakfast does not offer a large selection. I was missing more vegetables and more cold cuts like cheese or similar. My son was happy with the pancakes. When an adult pays for breakfast, a child eats free ( £8.99 ).
The area wasn't so special now. 10 min walk and you will arrive at Cutty Sark.
Unfortunately everything was completely closed on Christmas Day, including public transport. That's why we only went for a walk near the hotel that day.
The rooms aren't that big, but you only sleep in them and don't stay in them for too long. Unfortunately, the pillows were too hard for us. We are stomach sleepers and our heads were too high. We didn't feel comfortable without it, so we slept with it and this led to back pain. But that's complaining on a high level, because everyone likes pillows, blankets and mattresses differently and in their own way.
There are supermarkets nearby. We always go to the Tesco which is 10 minutes away and bought water and snacks for the evening.
We would book the hotel again, in contrast to other hotels, it was inexpensive and yet clean and safe.
MMDIMRAN”Great stay for solo travel! The hotel is in a safe, convenient location with easy access to public transport. Room was comfortable and quiet, perfect for relaxation. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free Wi-Fi and breakfast were a nice bonus. Highly recommend for solo travelers!”
WWell Rounded IndividualFor the price in relatively central London, it’s not bad as they provide a simple and clean room. But few things for the rating, and why amenities is lower in terms of score:
It’s a budget hotel, so they need to have other services to upsell you. Luggage storage costs 15 GBP, which is crazy especially when you are paying essentially 100 USD for one night.
Putting aside the one room cleaning every 4 nights (only giving you new towels everyday), the main shortcoming lies in a poor ventilation system and the over reliance on a relatively nauseating lavender scent. Sure it’s not that strong, but that coupled with the stale air makes it quite a suffocating experience.
I aim to be fair in my reviews, but coupled with general service - the staff can’t lend pen, or paper, or even make an effort to? Like the seeming unwillingness on such an easy task is confusing.
Wifi went out for the first night, and there’s no reception of any kind in the room, so was pretty bad. Took one whole day before it was resolved.
TLDR: Would opt for a hotel with windows, and it’s not worth paying so much for this.
GGuest UserFor the cleaning of the room you have to notify every morning if you stay more than one day; the room is large with a view of the Thames, but the upholstery of the chair is worn and unpleasantly stained; the staff is very helpful and kind; the breakfast good and varied. At dinner the food is very good but the waiting times are very long.
GGuest UserSuitable for watching performances at O2. A good value hotel. Good hygiene, but far from the city. Recommended for fans and friends. It is about a 2km walk from the observatory. You can order Uber Eats for delivery. It is generally clean and convenient. The restaurant is spacious and nice
