We had a great experience at this hotel! The welcome cookie was delicious and just what we needed after a long drive down from London. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with some towel art and cake! The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet had great variety and a beautiful view.
Only comments would be the lack of complementary water and mini-fridge the room. The AC took a while to become cold, but it got there eventually.
Overall, we had a great trip and don’t regret picking this hotel!
The Regency-style building that used to be townhouses is as close to Brighton seafront as it gets. Its one of those elegant picture-postcard - neo-classical beauties that face directly onto the beach with views looking out across the English Channel.
Inside the hotel the cities huge personality can be felt in the art and design as well as the architecture and energy - oh and the menu too. Its all added to the GuestHouse must-haves of help yourself pantry - Pearly Cow restaurant - event spaces - wellness concept and bar spilling out onto an outside terrace - seriously comfortable bedrooms - curious details and genuinely welcoming happy people.
At the front of the building 16 rooms are designed to showcase the jaw-dropping views of the sea and old West Pier. For the ultimate Brighton stay there is a signature suite on the ground floor accessed by its own dedicated sea-front entrance - private lounge - walk-in wardrobe - kitchenette and free-standing bath.

We had a wonderful stay here for my 30th birthday. We had the double room which was the perfect size for a couple. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom and shower were excellent. I loved the free pantry for snacks too!
We didn't eat at the hotel but we did sit in the hotel bar and the cocktails and bar staff were great.

Great 1 night stay with my partner, room was a great size, clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful, checking in and out was a breeze, lot of complaints regarding breakfast that I have read but the offering was good at least for our stay. If I had to make any complaints it would be the loud plumbing but honestly this didn’t bother us much. Ultimately we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again in the future.

Overpriced hotel in bad location with parking difficulties. The road outside front entrance/reception is a restricted road for taxis and authorised vehicles only with ANPR cameras. Driving onto this road will result in a Penalty Charge. Expensive hotel that doesn't have free parking for guests nor reimbursement service if guests have to pay for parking elsewhere is very bad. Room was like a 3 star hotel with outdated facilities. Shower in bathtub with just fixed head on wall so no shower pipe. Shower made loud rumbling noise when in use. Sink tap was either too hot or slight warm water. Guests had to use their room card to operate the lifts and ground floor doors everytime which was annoying. Overall very dissapointing stay at this hotel and definitely wouldn't stay again.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming.nice quiet hotel.has it's own car park but only a handful of spaces.the spaces are packed so close together that you can barely get your door open let alone get out of the car.we were told to reverse into space but then had no room to open boot to get luggage out.plus you pay extra to park but you can come and go as you please if you can get back in your car.nice idea and cheaper than car parks but literally no room to maneover car.hotel room was clean, neat& tidy but very dated.bathroom looked shabby and needs an update but was clean.could hear music, snoring from man in next room.picked a Seaview room which was lovely, however next morning windows had so much condensation we couldn't see out..only open a couple of inches too.need a squeegee to wipe windows.unfortunately despite the comfy bed I didn't sleep great as being on seafront traffic was non stop all night.however I loved the hotel and would stay again.breakfast we were given a time slot for and the food was very nice.very well situated right near the i360 tower which is well worth a visit

Great
GGuest UserMagnificent hotel, spotlessly clean and superb service. Our room was a junior suite, which we thought was slightly smaller than we expected it to be.
AAJ MamarilPros: This hotel is a stone throw away from the beach and commercial areas. Clean rooms and facility. I like the spa facility because they have gym, pool, steam room, and sauna. It’s very relaxing. Our breakfast is the highlight of our stay. Lots of food choices with a view of the beach and Brighton pier. Staff are friendly and accomodating. I like the online checkout, it’s a time saver.
Cons: I am disappointed because I booked a superior room with sea view but they gave me a partial sea view instead. Didn’t bother to ask because I was very exhausted after a long trip. Our bathroom has a rusty shower head and bath drainage. Didn’t managed to go to the sauna because it’s jampacked.
Overall, good experience.
GGuest UserWas absolutely fantastic, staff very friendly, fantastic location and great value for anyone wanting a weeks stay.
The only downside was the breakfast which is not worth the money, else wise great place.
WWltsui72The hotel is located in the heart of the city and is walkable to the famous beach. It is next to the central station and super convenient to start the journey in Brighton
GGuest UserI really appreciate upgrade to room sea view.
But on the night of our stay was very strong wind and omg felt like windows will fall out, we stayed up all night. Room was freezing.
In the no when I did check why the wind noise was sooo bad I realised there was a massive gap between window and frame.
On the check out girl asked how was my stay and when I said it was just alright, she wasn’t bothered to ask why and skipped to next question.
I could point out issue we had but there was a guest in front of me who was talking about the same situation and girl at reception offered her blanket and heater, sounds like it’s on good problem in hotel with windows and stuff can’t be ask to deal with it.
GGuest UserEverything was very beautiful, very cozy attention to detailing very tasteful decor. The receptionist was an absolute sweetheart with us. Location is good. Breakfast was ok. Comes with slippers and a bathrobe , although one of our bathrobes were dirty inside with toothpaste. The facilities need here and there an update, it was very windy outside and the windows let through a lot of cold. There’s some tiles on the bathroom floor fallen and for the price it was one would expect it being properly cleaned specially the toilet around mirrors and windows
GGuest UserI visited with my granddaughter for her birthday treat , unfortunately it was the weekend of the bad storm . We were disappointed there was no TV in the room or anywhere else in hotel , also the bedroom window didn't close properly and the wind and rain howled in all night .
The staff were lovely and we enjoyed our breakfast , although again we were disappointed the restaurant wasn't open and we had to brave the storm to get our evening meal .
Llann94High hopes but this feel quite short in a number of ways. From the photos the room looked lovely and this did match up. However it did become apparent that aesthetics have been prioritised over other aspects. The pub/club opposite was still incredibly noisy at 2am (on a Tuesday) with the windows doing nothing to muffle the noise. There was fast food rubbish found next to one of the beds from a previous occupant, and this was quite a large wrapper that would have been difficult to miss during cleaning. Communication around bed preference was not good at all, I had specifically asked for a king (and have the evidence of this in my booking details) yet on arrival twin beds were set up. When I raised this with the company, there was no offer of rectifying this, instead I was told more than once that this had been the request. To add insult to injury, our neighbours in the room next door invited some friends to their room and it seemed they were having their own party at 3am with shouting, giggling and loud music and more than 5 in the one room. We knocked on the door in the end to request some quiet as, with the club outside, we were completely surrounded by noise. One small plus point that, once we managed to get to sleep, the bed (albeit the twin I hadn’t requested) was very comfortable.
GGuest UserThe room was not large, but it felt modern and clean, just like the picture! The location was good, but it was disappointing for a place where 4 people went and paid 80,000 won per person. There was no elevator and the bathroom was shared... ㅠ But I think that date was a bit expensive. I looked up other dates and it was just a little cheaper. I would have been 99% satisfied! The bathroom was clean, but there was no shampoo. They gave us one towel each.
