不過，酒店也存在一些缺憾。1.坡坎較多，對老年人、小童或腿腳不便者不太友好；2.所有民宿均無電梯，搬運行李不太方便；3.民宿內餐廳不提供早餐，想吃早餐得從停車場出發，連續走兩個大坡步行15分鐘左右；4.而且這裏沒有外賣，外賣也送不到，對嘴叼和犟的人可謂是一種“特別治療”。5.若帶小朋友來此旅行，建議自備摺疊燒水壺、自熱米飯、自熱火鍋、N多零食等。
總體而言，半月灣酒店雖有不足，但地理位置和娛樂設施優勢明顯。若能接受這些小缺點，這裏仍不失為一個值得體驗的度假之地。
