"Friendly family run place, and both father and son was very happy to assist in anything, especially advice on how to tackle the great wall visit. If you are into photography, even better as they will provide all the best advice, including getting a double-entry ticket so that you can go for sunrise and sunset shoot. The place is literally just outside the gate!!"

"We had an absolutely perfect stay at Muping Chaoxing Farmhouse! The host and his family are the kindest people, they helped us choose our hiking routes on the Wall, gave us great tips, and even organized our trip back to Beijing Airport. The host speaks English really, which made it easy to get around the village and organize everything.
We had dinner at the restaurant across the street run by his brother, who cooked us delicious food. Because of my gluten allergy, he kindly prepared gluten-free meals for me and was very helpful in making sure I could enjoy the food without any problems.
The guesthouse is about a 20-minute walk from the Wall entrance, but you can also take a shuttle bus if you prefer. Our room was very modern and extremely clean. We felt completely comfortable.
We’d definitely stay here again and want to thank the owner and his family for the great time and their amazing hospitality!"

"At the beginning it is hard for me to choose even the review is positive, but when I arrive and check in, I totally change my view. The surrounding is cozy, the room are clean with no cigarette odour even they provide ash tray in the room (suggest owner take away the ash tray and put a notice smoke at provider smoking area out side the premises), toilet are bright and water pressure is good (but hope the owner can make a little bit changes for the wiring system of the water heater), the food is tasty and size are too big for solo traveller (suggest to owner set a
price for small size for not wasting food), the owner parents are friendly and always give the good service. At night, surrounding is quite and good to rest. it is a walking distance to Jing shang ling tourist center but if planning to do the sunrise walk the owner will provide a transfer service to the entrance at 330am. Overall it is a good choice to stay here."

"Our stay was very pleasant. The location was super perfect. Just outside the entrance to the ticketing counter to enter the jinshanling Great wall . The family was very welcoming and the room was spotlessly clean and was very toughtfully planned. The room looked like it was newly renovated. Itbwas a vrry cosy room. Breakfast was nice and warm and good portions. Can order dinner too and the homecooked food was delicious. . The owner also gave us a ride to Gubei for a very fair fee. I really like this place and would like to.come back"

"A place to stay after climbing the Great Wall. I didn't hold out much hope, but the result was unexpected. The room is spacious, has toiletries, and the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. It is very close to the Jinshanling Great Wall Visitor Center and can be reached in about ten minutes on foot. The farmhouse has its own restaurant. The food is homely, refreshing and delicious. Especially after traveling outside for more than ten days, it feels very warm to eat such delicious food. In order to see the sea of clouds at the Great Wall, after consulting the boss's wife, we decided to climb the Great Wall again at 4 o'clock in the morning. The boss drove us to the ticket gate and it cost 10 yuan per person, which was very convenient. After climbing the Great Wall, it was already past 10 o'clock when we had breakfast. The proprietress specially saved breakfast for us. Breakfast costs 10 yuan per person, and includes steamed buns, eggs, corn porridge, and refreshing side dishes. The side dishes are freshly prepared cold dishes, which are very refreshing. I didn’t take pictures of the room, but I took pictures of the breakfast for your reference."

"The only hotel inside the jinshanling great wall. Next to the entrance of the ticket and cable car station. Only 1 Chinese restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices of the food are reasonable and portions are huge. Room is as per the picture. We have 2 rooms, 1 facing car park and 1 mountain. No greatwall view as is hidden behind the mountain.
Service is excellent, they will provide pick up service from tourist centre and east gate entrance. We walked from the central to the east and contacted them via WeChat to pick us up from there. When we checked out, they told them we wanted to go a restaurant near the tourist centre, they did the extra mile to send us there instead of just alighting at the tourist centre.
Staff are extra friendly. I saw them looking for 4 guests who dine at the restaurant the night before who dropped at 100yuan. The next morning when we were there for breakfast, they checked whether did we sat at the table for dinner last night. They were still searching for the guests to return the money. Super honest!
However, cleanliness can be improved, the ceiling fan was super dusty. Behind the hotel, next to the greatwall entrance, there are some farmers restaurants and mingshu too."

You can live from sunrise to sunset. The accommodation conditions are also good, the hygiene is quite clean, and the things are also good. It’s very new. The boss and the wife are very enthusiastic. I told the boss in advance that we can have breakfast in the morning. We had a sumptuous lunch at an acceptable price. We went to climb the Great Wall before dawn. I heard from the boss that the red leaves on the Great Wall are still there. There is no discoloration. It will be more beautiful after October. I can recommend friends who love photography to come with me next time😃

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, the floor heating made the room very warm, and the TV could project the screen. The boss was very warm and down-to-earth, and we had a pleasant time together. He gave us a free breakfast after upgrading. We watched the sunrise smoothly according to the boss's advice. We were lucky to catch the dragon and lion dances, stilts and yangko and other folk performances in the scenic area.

VVivie PanI have known the owner of this restaurant for many years. When I come to Jinshanling Great Wall, I always go to the Cui Family Courtyard for lunch. The proprietress Xiaoli is quick at work and the food is delicious. The whole family is very enthusiastic. This is the first time to stay at his house. The room is clean and comfortable. Not on the roadside, very quiet at night. It’s a great choice to watch the sunrise and sunset at Jinshanling Great Wall. The boss Er Ming is a photography enthusiast and a big anchor, and he can accompany him to climb the Great Wall.

GGary Ong Wei KiatAbsolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

GGuest UserThe most cost-effective inn in Jinshanling Yinhe Ski Resort, it is cleaner and brighter than the inn in Dongyingzi Village, and closer than the county hotel (most hotels in the county are not as clean and comfortable as Yuxiu), and the boss is very nice. It's very convenient to eat. It's just on the first floor of the inn. There are stir-fries, griddles, and stews. The dishes are large, affordable, and delicious.
