"Five-star review | Xining Xinbo Hotel (Caojiapu Airport Branch)
This time I brought my two kids to Qinghai, and because of our itinerary, I specifically chose this hotel close to the airport. It turns out this decision was incredibly smart! Definitely a five-star review.
Location & Transportation: The hotel is very close to Caojiapu Airport and offers a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service. After we landed, one call and the driver arrived quickly, which was super convenient. For travelers with late flights or those catching an early flight the next day, this is absolutely the top choice.
Room Facilities: The room was very new; you could tell it had been recently renovated, but there was no strange odor, which I really appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although it's near the airport, the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, and the kids slept soundly.
Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the hallways and the room itself, everything was spotless, which made our stay very reassuring.
Service Attitude: The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was quick, and they proactively informed us about breakfast and the shuttle service. They even gave us yogurt upon check-in, a thoughtful detail that was much appreciated.
Overall Experience: This is a highly cost-effective airport hotel, suitable for family travel. Next time I fly to Xining, I'll choose this place again!

"Our flight arrived at Xining Caojiabao Airport on May 22, 2026, at almost midnight. The driver from Hanting Hotel picked us up smoothly and took us to the hotel. The female receptionist warmly welcomed us and helped us book a carpool to Xining city center for May 23rd. The breakfast was also delicious. What truly touched us was when we checked out; several staff members, seeing that we were older, came out to help us with our luggage and escorted us to our car. We felt incredibly cared for. We've already returned to Shanghai on June 2nd, and we're writing this review to express our sincere gratitude to all the staff at Hanting Hotel!"

"I compared several hotels around the airport. Some were overpriced with exorbitant rates, while others were in very remote areas with limited dining and amenities, and I couldn't understand how they justified such high prices.
Ultimately, I chose this genuine 5-diamond gem, which offers incredible value for money. It's only a 7-minute drive to the airport and provides a free shuttle service, which was a huge convenience. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and a self-service laundry room. This was particularly helpful for a long trip like the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, allowing me to do laundry and work out. Plus, the surrounding waterscape environment is excellent.
The service from all staff members was impressive. The front desk receptionists were gentle and patient, and check-in was very fast. Any requests for room service were promptly handled, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. The à la carte restaurant on the second floor offers outstanding value; the dishes are reasonably priced and genuinely delicious. I could easily enjoy a full meal without leaving the hotel. The biggest surprise was the breakfast, which was definitely the closest to mainland Chinese tastes I encountered on the entire Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, with a wide variety of options that were comforting and satisfying.
Overall, this hotel completely outperforms the overpriced hotels near the airport. It's perfect whether you're looking for a layover spot or a business stay. Full five-star rating, I highly recommend choosing this hotel if you're in the area."

"The platform claimed the hotel was newly renovated in 2026, but upon arrival, I was greatly disappointed. It was a classic case of 'what you see online versus what you get in reality.' The hotel's decor and facilities were very old, making it hard to believe it was a new opening in '26. We stayed in a triple room, and on that floor, only one light was working in the hallway, making it very dark. Additionally, after exiting the elevator, you had to pass through a security door with a threshold on the floor. The lighting was extremely dim, and there were no signs warning about the threshold, which caused me to trip. The only upside was perhaps the large parking lot."

"We stayed here for one night to catch an early flight the next morning. The hotel is clean, and all the furniture is new. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
There aren’t many restaurants nearby, but there’s a small eatery about 300m away, and a supermarket with ready-to-eat options about 500m away. Also the hotel is ideally located near the airport and train station.
Our flight was early, and the owner kindly drove us to the airport, even giving us two energy drinks to recharge — very thoughtful gesture.
We were also able to leave our luggage there for a few days until we come back.
One area for improvement would be to provide reusable towels instead of single-use ones, because they are drying better and are more eco-friendly.
Overall very satisfied and we recommend this hotel."

"Super satisfied with an e-sports hotel! This time I and my friends finished playing the Qinggang Dahuan Line to find a hotel. The equipment is brand new and high-end, can rotate the large screen, the mechanical keyboard is super good, and the peripherals can be self-selected. There is a snack self-service area in the public area, which is very convenient for eating and drinking. The room is large, the bed is clean and comfortable, it can be opened quickly and dark and can rest well, the environment is clean and quiet, the first choice for black, highly recommended! The proprietress has a very good service attitude and is very enthusiastic. She also introduced Qinghai's local delicious shops and free pick-up and drop-off service. It is really great."

"I took the train from Delingha back to Xining and flew back to Shanghai the next day. Because it's close to the airport, I chose this hotel again. (I also chose this hotel for the outbound trip; I've reviewed it separately.)
This time, there were no misunderstandings. The room was clean and spacious, making it easy to organize my luggage. ^_^
The front desk clerk also booked me an airport transfer for the next day. (I recommend leaving a little extra time when asking for the transfer time; the time suggested by the front desk is a bit short, so if you're checking luggage, leave more.)
All in all, this hotel is perfect for an overnight layover. It's a great value. The staff are all very nice, and the driver who picks me up is also very nice. 👍"

"首先先説優點房間很大很寬敞老闆很熱情主動幫我們拿行李小院也很舒服地方好找很好停車然後是缺點我定的家庭房兩個1.5m的床大小具體有沒有1.5有待商榷大抵應該是1.35而且一共衹給了我們兩個枕頭多的枕頭還是重新去要的其次房間一進來沙發跟浴室地上都有小碎渣地面有印跡浴室一打開下水道有一股味道馬桶還有水漬和印跡背面比較臟合理懷疑浴室根本沒有打掃可能也跟這邊來住的人不多有關雖然我們帶了自己的拖鞋但還是要説一句提供的拖鞋很臟第一次見住宿提供的洗髮水是袋裝的最後熱水器一開始還是關閉狀態後面我們自己打開燒水速度不是很快洗澡水壓也低晚上有大車經過早上一直有小販叫賣很影響睡眠"

The homestay is very clean and the location is very convenient. There is a restaurant within 5 minutes walk. In addition, the boss is very enthusiastic and will personally take us up. Send our family to the airport the next morning.

Guest UserThe hotel is incredibly close to the airport, making travel super convenient. They also offer a free shuttle service, which was arranged promptly upon booking. The driver was friendly and attentive, saving me the hassle of rushing to the airport.
The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, handling check-in and check-out efficiently and patiently, responding promptly to any needs. The rooms were clean, tidy, quiet, and comfortable, providing a very reassuring stay.
The breakfast was varied, delicious, nutritious, and tasty – perfect for a pre-trip meal. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the experience. It's great value for money, a top choice for connecting flights or catching a flight, and I would definitely book again!

The bathroom is a bit small, I live in this is a squat toilet.
The disadvantage is that the location is in the next village, about 11 kilometers from Xining Airport, and it takes a good road or even a 2 yuan highway.
If the landing airport has been picked up at the airport, it is recommended. It is more convenient to drive by yourself.
If you don't rent a car, the boss also has a pick-up and drop-off service, no charge. But this has to wait with others, and tell the boss in advance to avoid delaying the trip.

Guest UserThis hotel should be the most comfortable hotel we stayed in during our trip to Gannan. When I first looked at the price, I was very hesitant. My husband also said it wouldn't be a public toilet, right?
It turned out that this hotel was really outstanding. Because it was newly renovated, it was very clean and bright. It was also cleaned very well. The hardware was used very well. The curtains were actually electric and the faucets could be adjusted.
The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic and recommended the bun shop and beef noodles next door to us, which were very good.
This is the most cost-effective hotel in this trip!

This was a truly luxurious hotel! And the staff were super friendly and helpful as well!
Various individual staff members really went out of their way to make my visit to Xunhua enjoyable! We often say ”the people make a difference”, and this is absolutely true of the employees at this hotel!!!
In addition to the great staff, the room was spacious and clean, also equipped with every possible modern convenience! Even though the hotel was in the middle of the city, I had a nice view of the nearby mountains.
I would absolutely stay in this hotel on any future visit to Xunhua!!! In fact, just the opportunity to stay here is a good reason to go back!
This hotel was so great that I hesitate to mention any minor drawback- but it should be said that the breakfast buffet was fairly minimal and lacked the wide variety of Chinese breakfast items offered in some other hotels during my recent trip to China.

Guest UserTraveling in Gannan, this night was originally booked near Xining Airport, the sky was changed to Hualong early, just the next day to Xiahe is still closer.
Hualong is the hometown of ramen. There is a Qingpu beef noodles diagonally opposite the hotel. The taste is really good. Friends who see it must try it.
The room is large, and the standard bed we booked is 1.5 meters, so comfortable.
The front desk lady is beautiful and the service attitude is very good 👍

马不停蹄距離機場很近，意不是全部房型都有免費接/送機服務。我們到達西寧下機第一晚住“豪華雙床房” 在二樓的，略貴少少，但沒有接/送機服務。離開西寧前一晚入住較平的標準雙床房，反而有接/送機，但房間在一樓，即是在大街上，就是圖一中地面上那排窗户，打開窗户路人都可以爬進來，房間沒有空調，關窗又悶熱了。住客進出、泊車都吵着。最慘清晨未夠6點已有一位大哥扯大嗓門，蹲在窗下大聲説話，無語了! 大家慎審考慮。
