"Choosing Chok (Chaoke) was absolutely the smartest decision we made for our trip to Sayram Lake. Its superb location offers an unobstructed view, allowing you to take in the stunning beauty of Sayram Lake right from your room's balcony or the restaurant. The staff at Chok were incredibly warm and attentive. The front desk ladies, Zuli and Dina, were so vibrant and made check-in a truly welcoming experience. We were driven by golf cart directly to our room, which was well-designed, with comfortable and clean bedding, and even had a humidifier. With the underfloor heating on, the room was cozy even at night. In the afternoon, we enjoyed afternoon tea at the restaurant, soaking in the beautiful sunset. I also noticed staff meticulously cleaning our skylight, preparing it for stargazing later. The restaurant's interior design is remarkably exquisite, with a unique ethnic flair. From here, the view of Sayram Lake is breathtaking – a vast expanse of blue, contrasting with fields of golden grass. The dome-like structures, connected by wooden boardwalks, strongly resemble an arctic research station. Dinner here was incredibly rich and delicious. A Mongolian dance performance kicked off the evening's entertainment by the lake, and songs and instrumental performances by foreign guests added a touch of Western romance to the Sayram Lake night. The camp was wonderfully quiet from night till morning. Many guests climbed to the second floor of the restaurant to watch the sunrise. Overall, the experience was excellent. Chok will definitely be on my list for future trips. They even gave us a small gift, a cosmetic bag, which made Chok even more memorable. Oh, and the mini 'nang' (flatbread) in the room was incredibly delicious! 😋"

"The city of Bole is a pleasant surprise and I am quite satisfied with it. The front desk staff provided excellent service and helped us upgrade the room type. It was very comfortable and cozy as soon as we entered. The decoration was also very unique. The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, which was not a problem for two people. It was a good deal when I booked it, about 130, which was very cost-effective in the off-season. The sleep was also very comfortable, and the bedding was very skin-friendly and did not cause allergies. The sound insulation was OK, not too noisy, which was good."

"First off, the location! Absolutely fantastic! The first day, Sayram Lake wasn't great, but the second day, after the rain, it was stunning, and we were able to enjoy it right from the hotel – very satisfying. Second: The room. The duvet was too thick, and the bedding wasn't particularly comfortable. Many hotels use memory foam pillows now (if you think I'm being demanding, then so be it). Third: Service was okay. Although, I don't know why there were only two counters for check-in downstairs; one was busy with something, and I had to wait ten minutes for the other – very annoying. However, our room's AC was too hot, and they sent someone to fix it promptly! Grateful for that. Fourth: My complaints. When I booked the hotel, the price wasn't cheap, costing 1800/night (and that was for a regular twin room without a Sayram Lake view)! Yes! Later that day, I checked the price on Ctrip, and it was only 1400! Infuriating. For that price, they offered afternoon tea and dinner, which I was initially pleasantly surprised by! Wow! I thought I'd enjoy it. But then! What was afternoon tea?! Just a buffet of leftover breakfast fruits and pastries! Yes, a buffet. I just had a few slices of tomato 🍅. Dinner was even more outrageous. Honestly, the area outside is very commercialized, so you could easily go out to eat! But since it was free, I figured I'd try it! The result was!!!! Dinner was just tomato and egg noodles! Yes! You heard that right, just a bowl of noodles!!!!!! Sigh, sometimes it's better not to offer something at all than to offer something like that and tarnish the Marriott brand. I later saw that during regular times, it's probably only 600-700. Oh well, it must have been because of the holiday period... It's tough. Breakfast... also not good! Thanks for nothing!"

"This hotel was a highlight of our Xinjiang trip! Every area of the room was spotless, making our stay very comfortable. Layla provided exceptional service, even proactively offering tips for exploring the scenic area. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by the afternoon tea and late-night congee/supper options – truly thoughtful service. A few days after checking out, I realized I might have left some clothes in the lobby. I contacted Layla, and she quickly located them for us and promptly arranged for SF Express to ship them. So grateful! 🥹"

"This was our 8th stop on our Xinjiang trip. Since I don't usually book hotels in advance, I decided on this one after seeing its proximity to Sailimu Lake. It's about a 5-minute drive from the East Gate, which is super convenient. The prices around Sailimu Lake's East Gate are generally not low, but for the sake of saving time during our trip, it was worth paying a bit more. I loved the room – it was very spacious, clean, and tidy. The service was also excellent. In the morning, I wanted to do some laundry and quickly head to the scenic area, so I asked one of the hotel's 'little horse housekeepers' (a lovely touch!) to keep an eye on it and help with drying after the wash. By the time we finished breakfast, everything was already packed up for us. Big thumbs up! The breakfast selection was decent, but there weren't enough seats. It definitely got a bit crowded during peak hours, and I couldn't even get in line for noodles."

"There is a yard for parking. The breakfast area is not big but the dishes are very good. The staff is enthusiastic. The room decoration has many functional areas. It is the first time I have encountered such functional design. It is beyond imagination. I ate at the restaurant of the Internet celebrity hotel, but I stayed at the Hilton. It was indeed the right choice."

"Five-star review! This trip to Sayram Lake, Tan Cheng·Yi was a huge and pleasant surprise. I booked a king-size bed but was upgraded to a lake-view twin room. The room cleaning was very meticulous, with an en-suite bathroom. The room was equipped with complimentary drinking water, a capsule coffee machine, and disposable toiletries that could be replenished at the front desk anytime. The public areas were lovely, with afternoon tea and a bar, perfect for relaxing in the lobby after a long day of sightseeing. The self-service laundry and free parking were especially convenient for self-driving tourists. The staff were very thoughtful, and any questions could be asked via WeChat at any time. It's close to Sayram Lake, making it very convenient for sightseeing. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

The front desk service was very warm; we received complimentary gifts both at check-in and check-out, which really enhanced the emotional value of our stay. The late-night supper was incredibly diverse, with various steamed dumplings and congees that exceeded my expectations. "This was my second stay, and it was still fantastic! Last time, the shower pressure in the bathroom was a bit low, and the hotel said they'd bring a welcome fruit platter next time. Surprisingly, it was actually there on the table in my room, and they even upgraded my room for free. There's a night market right outside the hotel with ethnic performances, and the barbecue was delicious. The hotel's landscaping is excellent. Furthermore, the hotel breakfast deserves special praise. The variety is amazing, with not only common Western bread and coffee but also many authentic local hot dishes, and the fruit was very fresh. At checkout, the staff warmly inquired about my stay. Whether it's the facilities or the service, the front desk was incredibly responsive and patiently answered all my questions. They even delivered urgent items to my room. This hotel excels in everything it offers, making it extremely good value for money."
