"Upon arrival, the owner, seeing that we were a family of five, kindly offered to move us to a larger room to make things easier. The shop was easy to find, the room was new and clean, and the owner and staff were incredibly welcoming. They also have a restaurant serving Northeastern Chinese cuisine. The dumplings were amazing—freshly made and cooked to order, every single one was delicious! I highly recommend this guesthouse! Two days after leaving, I realized I'd left my earphones at the guesthouse. I contacted the owner, and without hesitation, they sent them via express mail. Thank you so much!"

"The hotel is okay, right across from the Qing Dynasty granary. But I have to complain about the attractions in Barkol. It's an absolute bummer. Don't go. Barkol Lake is incredibly smelly. The grasslands in Barkol are bare. There's really not much to do. The mountain road is winding. I regretted going there. I drove there from Dahaidao and stayed overnight, eating at a night market. I absolutely avoid eating at night markets. They're run by Uyghurs, and the food is unhygienic and terrible. The next day, there was a pilaf that was quite good, but trust the reviews. Car washes in Barkol are not cheap at 45 yuan."

"Driving to Xinjiang, we escaped the heat of Hami city and came to Barkol. Barkol Lake and its grasslands here are definitely worth a visit, especially beautiful in the evening! The hotel's location is excellent, and you can park your car in a nearby residential area. There's a snack street close by, where you should try local specialties like braised lamb with pancakes, grilled lamb chops, and horse sausage! Smoking is allowed in the hotel rooms, and there were burn marks from cigarette butts on the carpet and sofa. I don't think this is very family-friendly."

Environment: Sitting on a small stool outside the tent, you can see the snow on the mountain in the distance, and the wheat fields outside, which is closer to nature than the county seat, but personally feel that because it is a bit far from the county seat, please be prepared for non-self-driving.
Service: The boss is very enthusiastic and the requirements can basically be met. I will probably choose here next time I come to Barry."

This homestay is definitely an underestimated small shop. It is located on the Bariyu grassland. I thought it would be inconvenient to travel. I didn’t expect it to be a three-minute drive from the food street. People specially built a road on the grassland to go directly to the homestay, and the accommodation environment is quite clean. The homestay also takes the store to buy delicious food without going out. It is really good. The proprietress is also enthusiastic, and they have a standard room that is very suitable for a family trip. It’s really good to see the snow-capped mountains when you get up in the morning. There is a parking lot at the door. There are public parking lots specially built within 100 meters. It’s free, very convenient 😍😍😍.

Looking from the outside, it is very ordinary, the front desk needs to take the elevator to the second floor, the environment is general. The hotel upgraded us to the third floor.
