"There are not many hotels in Ayers Rock. Emu Walk is a medium-level apartment hotel, similar to a resort. The house is simple, a two-story brick building. Before going there, I saw someone commented that the things here are more expensive than outside, but when I bought things in the supermarket, I found that it was only slightly more expensive than outside. It was very limited, and the supermarket had everything. Although it can accommodate four people on the Ctrip website, it is actually a small suite for two people. If it is really four people, then the other two people have to live on the sofa bed in the living room, and there is only one toilet. The hygiene is average. It looks okay on the surface, but the hygiene is rough when you look closely. The sofa feels unclean and there is a lot of dust in the corners. The front desk service is okay, and the response to requests is very fast."

"I was travelling with friends and this was the only suitable option in the summer if you wanted to hike Kings Canyon as Kings Creek was closed. There is a kitchen with a fridge and freezer where you can store your food, with kitchen equipment available for hire from reception. It's nice to cool off and relax in the swimming pool after a long drive from Alice Springs. You'll be able to see a bunch of wildlife if it's nice and quiet. We could see the Field of Lights from outside our room which was an added bonus. Showers are comfortable, however they could provide soap like other places to make it convenient. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Fuel is cheaper here than other fuel stations enroute so it's best to top up before you leave to avoid being stranded. I'd happily stay here again in the height of summer as it's a good rest point."
