"The surrounding facilities are complete, and the supermarket restaurant gas station is all available. The front desk service is professional and the room is large and clean. Breakfast is not rich but the weight is sufficient. The restaurant has hot water and coffee black tea at any time. There are many companies within a 15-minute drive, suitable for business travel."

"I think I only stayed there for a short time because of a business trip, but it was close to the airport, had a shuttle bus, and was good value for money compared to other nearby hotels. I recommend it to business travelers."

GGuest UserThe Daxton is a great hotel it’s pretty consistent every time I stay. I rate cleanliness a 3 because my experience has been hit and miss. The first and second time I stayed the cleanliness was on point. The third time I stayed they put me in a room that just wasn’t very clean they apologized, moved me immediately and upgraded my room that was nice. The last time I stayed whoever cleaned my bathroom had shedding hair or something and there were long strands of hair that were not my own in the shower and on my towel. That wasn’t cool but it happens. The amenities are great they have a complimentary snack area in each floor with coffee, tea, beverages and little pastries and snacks which is an excellent extra and overall the service is great. The area around the hotel is very walkable there is great shopping and food options there’s even a nice park nearby. The Daxton has become my go to hotel when visiting MI and I come up quite a bit.

YYvonnetehThe service was great, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. I love the hotel! The only suggestion I have for the hotel is to add recycling bins in the rooms or perhaps on each floor in the main corridor. This would allow customers the option to help sort our garbage and trash (plastic, paper, cardboard), especially since the rooms do provide bottled water.

GGuest UserThis hotel is nice. It was clean. It is farther away from downtown Rochester Hills than the website indicates. We were disappointed that there wasn't a hot tub, just a very small indoor pool. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Two floors of the hotel were filled with kids' hockey teams that were running wild on the other floors, including our floor. The breakfast room the following morning was much the same, the kids were yelling, running around, making a mess of everything while the parents were conversing with the other parents. Total disrespect to the rest of guests. The kids were mixing all the different juices together and then throwing it out because it didn't taste good, throwing away bananas they didn't peel, just wasting food. I know this was not the hotels fault. It's just a shame the parents or the kids had no regard for all the other patrons. We had to wait for the sole person manning the breakfast room to refill most of the breakfast items. There was a nice selection of hot and cold food once it was replenished. I would still stay at this hotel again

KKleidioIm currently staying at this hotel and i have to say the location of the place and the amenities are pretty good, but cleanliness? There’s a huge chicken wing sticked in the mirror. This is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen in my life . Paying this much money and staying in a hotel is supposed to be clean . A CHICKEN WING IN THE F***** MIRROR????? come on do better , this js not how u keep your customers . The cleaners cannot miss things like these because it makes our stay horrible. I would appreciate if there will be something done for this disgusting inconvenience

GGuest UserThere were 3 police cars in front when we pulled up. The desk clerk could barely speak English. The carpet on the staircase was grossly dirty. One key wouldn’t work and we gave up after 2 trips to the front desk. The bathroom sink was cracked. The bathtub was so nasty that we showered at the relatives we were visiting. A tattered list of stations was the only “TV guide.” Internet was so slow I gave up using it after 6 “timed out” messages. Chipped up doors, dirty corners and along walls. Lamp shades broken, mismatched lightbulbs, fighting in parking lot...
Most disgusting place we’ve stayed in the past decade!

JJanetThis place was old but the rooms have been upgraded. Our room was mostly clean with just some corners missed. The updates were basic but nice. We do appreciate the hard floor in place of carpeting. The bed was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the desk, microwave and refrigerator and the many outlets around the room. There was one weird piece of that though. None of the desk power worked unless the overhead light was on. My husband does desk work before i get up and this added many hurdles for him.
The staff was very friendly. We had some extra time so stopped to see if we could check in early but they apologized that they couldn't accommodate us because the rooms were not ready. I would much rather wait than have a room that cleaning was rushed to get us in.
This hotel enforces a quiet time which again is wonderful for us.. We play music for a living and we fully appreciate a discounted but quiet room stay.
The drive to the hotel is a little difficult to follow the first time because the road comes in the back way. It feels a little unsafe BUT we had no issues at all. We will be back.

GGuest UserThis happened to be one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever seen in my life first one they gave me fridge raider was moldy bed was dirty bathroom disgusting so I asked for another one the second one the same thing food all over the top of the dresser crumbs that was broken sus but all the walls the carpet with sticky it stunk the pool was filthy. Yes, it is a cheap hotel, but still could still be kept clean. I will never go back. I used to go there all the time the people that work there are great they just need to keep it clean. It’s gross the floors floors how can you go onto your room in the floor be sticky the carpet

GGuest UserThis place wasn't to bad for the price but room the bathroom was discussing and when we asked for cleaning products was told had nothing..we used our shampoo to clean it..no towels or hand soap ...was not happy also no breakfast wich was included..also had to pay security deposit and wasn't aware almost didn't rent out room also told it would be put back on my card immediately..nope 3-4buisnes days..very dissatisfied
