Two great golf courses in town with Arcadia Bluffs only 30 min away and 45 min from Crystal Mountain and Caberfae Skiing in the winter!The spaceThis newly remodeled historic Victorian home was built in 1905 still has old world charm with modern conveniences. Originally two separate homes, this large house is perfect for multiple groups and provides plenty of space to interact together and separately. If you need to work, our newly upgraded mesh wifi 6 system and home office with a monitor are available during your stay. Families will have everything they need with baby gates, a high chair, a mini crib, a pack n play, a foosball table and other games made available to guests. There are 3 dedicated spots available, but plenty of other free street parking right around the house. There is also a wheelchair accessible ramped access to the house and 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on the main floor. Nearly every bedroom has either a smart TV or a fire stick for entertainment on rainy days.Enjoy a glass of wine or dinner on the back patio, a fire at night, or walk across the street for a Dairy Queen treat on a hot day!Guest accessThere is dedicated parking in the back entrance off the alley between 1st and 2nd Streets, or you can park on the south side of 1st Street or any of the side streets. This cozy and relaxing space is a back unit 1 bedroom 1 bath with back yard deck access. This place is small but mighty! Just a short 10 min stroll to 5th avenue beach & a 5 min walk to downtown Manistee! This setup is a bit unique to provide a great little space for your family! The 1 bedroom holds a triple bunk each with twin size mattresses and a rollaway cot which can be used if needed. The living room has two fold out couches. One is your traditional style fold out couch & one is a IKEA folding couch (very cozy). One is full size and one is a queen. Both fit two adults each. The living-room ottoman tranforms into a single rollaway cot perfect for a child or small adult. This unit could sleep 6-9 depending on your personal needs. Unsure? Just ask! Redberry House is divided into 2 private apartment units, each with its own entrance. The first floor unit has been lovingly updated and outfitted to host up to 8 people when using the twin trundle bed and separate futon in the den area. (The private upper floor unit is only used occasionally by the owners and will not interfere with your enjoyment of the home.) Redberry House is fully stocked with linens, bath towels, and beach towels, as well as a well-stocked kitchen and two internet TVs (via Roku). Unfortunately, the unit does not have a dishwasher or washer/dryer. Air conditioning is provided via two window units, along with ceiling fans and oscillating tower fans, that are more than sufficient for keeping the space cool and comfortable!The Manistee area has so many interesting areas and activities to explore and is graced with beautiful landscapes that allow you to catch your breath, relax, and retreat.
