As you enter the newly remodeled home, you will be welcomed by a charming entryway with hardwood floors, seating for shoe removal, coat hooks, and plenty of gear storage. Your eyes will be instantly drawn to the full kitchen with new Samsung appliances and everything needed to craft a delicious meal or the perfect cup of coffee. You’ll also find a front-loading washer and dryer behind the refrigerator. As you’ll find, A-frames require creative space usage! The breakfast bar and kitchen open up to a living and dining area flooded with natural light and an easy-to-use gas fireplace. The open living and dining area offers a leather sofa, Bluetooth soundbar, and TV equipped with AppleTV to login to your streaming services (no cable). There is plenty of seating, pillows, and blankets to get comfy whether you choose the hanging egg chair or a seat in the reading corner. Outside of the front door in the main living area is an expansive deck for enjoying the morning sun or playing in the snow. There is a second deck off the primary bedroom which leads to a beautiful creek behind the home. Chairs are available for relaxing on both decks in the summertime. The top of the spiral staircase in the main living area opens up to a spacious, bohemian bedroom with two queen beds, an ensuite bathroom with a stall shower, and plenty of storage for clothing and luggage. Each queen bed is nestled in its own A-frame nook with a dimmable light fixture and extension cords for charging all your devices. This is our favorite place to rest after a long day of fun in the mountains! On the main floor, the hallway off the kitchen leads to a full bathroom with a tub/shower, a game room equipped with a workstation, the primary bedroom, and a creekside sunroom. The game room is an ideal place to play one of the games stocked on the shelf (Chess, Monopoly, Clue, Twister, and more), catch up on emails with internet speeds of 150+mbps, or start that blog you’ve been thinking about. As you pass through the game room space, you'll come to the primary bedroom with a queen bed, dresser and closet. This room has French doors opening out to a private deck. The creekside sunroom is just beyond the primary bedroom and is only accessible by walking through the primary bedroom. It features a twin-size daybed. With a private view and a creek running only steps away, you cannot help but be immersed in nature in these two rooms. We have seen lots of wildlife (moose, foxes, bears) come right up to the window for close-up views, so be sure to have your camera ready! Escape the city & take in the fresh mountain air from this retreat, which backs up to the national forest & boasts incredible views of Mt. Quandary. You will love spending nights out on the deck or hot tub taking in the impressive night sky, or relaxing in the movie theater. The perfect mountain escape for large groups of families & friends. The house is located in Timber Creek Estates, which has an official noise ordinance that follows the guidelines set forth by the Town of Blue River. Noise violations (by persons or motor vehicles) may result in fines up to $1,000. Summit County may place a fire ban from time to time to prevent wildfires. This limits the use of the fire pit, unfortunately. The rear deck furniture and fire pit are seasonal. Please ask us if a fire ban is in place ahead of time if you plan on using the fire pit. Large SUV's and trucks may not fit in the garage. RVs and trailers are not allowed to be parked in the driveways. There is a camera facing the driveway for security purposes. Please note that the tub is serviced between guests. Sometimes the tub is just chemically treated, but sometimes it has to be drained and refilled. Because of this, please note that the tub may be cold on your arrival and may not be hot on the first night of your stay. As such, if you wish to use it, please ensure you turn it on and turn up the temperature when you arrive. Be sure to keep the cover closed at all times when the tub is not in use! The living area is cozy with a gas fireplace and big windows framing an unobstructed view of the sunrise as it peeks over the mountains and the alpen glow reflecting in the evening. The hot tub was fantastic. The kitchen appliances were amazing and the gas stove made me want to convert. If you have small kids bring your own non-breakable cups and plates because everything was breakable. I was a little surprised the home was in a neighborhood so it wasn’t as secluded as I hoped but the neighborhood is quiet. There are some fantastic hiking trails nearby along with Dillon lake not too far away either. A truly beautiful spot, we felt like we were out in the woods, but we were just a 10 minute drive to the gondola in Breckenridge (even shorter to in-town shopping) We spent most of the day skiing but still took advantage of lots of things at the house - the hot tub (which was great because there were lots of towels left right by the door!), the game room for playing cards, and just hanging out on the comfy couches We cooked some meals at the house – and were impressed by the quality of the kitchen setup. Brand new coffee maker, blender, utensils, and a plentiful filled spice rack. Plus- a supply of coffee to get us started. This house is definitely NOT a frat party house. It is beautiful and elegant and comfortable. The linens were fresh and clean and the comforters were really cozy We will definitely rebook this house for out next trip to the mountains. Whoever set up this house did a great job making it feel like home , only better! We all loved the layout of the house. The kids could be in one area and the grownups could be hanging out chatting in another. We only ate a few meals at the house because we were so close to the town of Breckenridge that we just had to go back to some of our favorite restaurants. Really liked the kitchen setup. It was clean, modern and had pretty much anything you could possibly want Smart TV's all over the house . I can't remember exactly but I think there were at least 4 of them in the house. And a BIG 65" TV in the family room We only had one issue. Deciding who got the master bath! It was HUGE! Loved the hot tub and were grateful for all of the extra towels the management company left for us. We knew we were taking a chance on this rental because it's new to the market and didn't have many reviews. We sure lucked out. Loved the Manor and can't wait to come back next time We have been to Breckenridge 4 times before and Merlot Moose Manor has by far been our favorite. It's tucked into a beautiful neighborhood 5 minutes from the gondola. Great views, great yard and an overall a beautiful home. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook each night for our group without feeling like any tools were missing.
