"I was completely ‘WOW’ by the services and the cleanliness of my rooms during my stay at Shangri La Nanchang. The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. I would strongly recommending EVERYONE to stay at Shangri La Nanchang. Lastly, the bell boy and traffic control staff were always helpful and friendly in treating every guest with respect. "The hotel 🏨 has complete facilities. It is a good choice for parent-child travel. I prepared a small surprise and card for my daughter's birthday 🎁. I also met Fan Fan (Chrissie Fan) who came to the concert at the door of the hotel. The types and nutrition of breakfast are very attentive, and the service is also very warm and thoughtful. The three-day and two-night stay experience is very good. I saw ”old facilities and not many types of buffet breakfast” in other comments before, and I was a little worried. After testing it myself, I think it is still in line with the quality and standards of a five-star hotel~ The room environment is very good, the hygiene is good, and it is very convenient to go out to the subway station. There are service staff who call in advance to ask about needs. The service of Xiao Wang in guest service is also very good. I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied overall."

"Great experience at the Swiss Grand. Would probably stay here again. Room was clean, and the location was ideal for us. It's walking distance to Tengwangge, and close to many lively pedestrian streets. The hotel staff probably does not see many foreign visitors, so there was some confusion with our documents at check in. However, it was quickly resolved."

"Love this place! First they upgraded my room to a river view, without additional fee, what a beautiful scene! Excellent breakfast buffet! Very friendly front staff, service staff, and banquet servers. If you have any requests they deal with them super fast. Very nice facility, close to everything - tourist high points (wanshou gong, bayi museum, pedestrian street, tengwangge) all are within walking distance, night street food market is like 20 meters away, convenient transportation option, subway station is a few minutes walking away. Overall, very happy for the staying experience with Oriscene garden hotel!"

"It was my first time to stay at Crystal Orange. The room was very clean, the decoration was in a log style, the bedding was clean, and I slept very comfortably. "The hotel is in a good location, just opposite the Tengwang Pavilion, across the river from the Tengwang Pavilion, not far from the Bayi Bridge, and within walking distance from the music fountain of Qiushui Square.
The river view room can enjoy the light show across the river in the room, which is very beautiful and worth staying. The hotel room price did not increase much during the May Day holiday, and the price-performance ratio is still good.
The details of the hotel's sanitation need to be improved. I found a screw and melon seed shell by the window, but the cleaning lady was pretty good. She only asked me to help take out the garbage, but she still cleaned the room. Some of the hotel's facilities are a bit old, and one of the drawers of the bedside table is broken.
I don't know why the hotel's gym and swimming pool are not open in such hot weather or holidays. It's a bit regrettable, but the overall feeling is still good. When I sat by the window at night and watched the light show across the river, I felt that this room was worth it!"

"This is my second stay at the Primus and I believe there will be another in my near future. I love stay-cations as a way to unwind and rest from work. This particular trip was for my birthday and the staff was so kind to help us celebrate. From the decorations to the pool to the huge tub (I love baths!) and yummy breakfast. It was just the celebration I was looking for. So thankful they are just a Didi away! They even decorated my friend’s room too!
The locker rooms have a steam room but it’s not constantly on. You have to ask them to turn it on and it takes awhile to heat up so, if you know you want to use it let the staff know well ahead of time. You can get massages but I have a regular place I love in the city that isn’t as pricey so I just go there.
Sometimes breakfast is amazing and sometimes it’s ok…depends on what’s available I think.
The best part! A miracle! I locked my passport and wallet in the room safe. Something I rarely do. Well, 3 days later I received a call from the front desk telling me they found my belongs in the room. I hadn’t even realized! Smh…I was so grateful. I ran over immediately and was given everything (after a few questions to make sure it was really me ). Nothing was missing! I’m still in shock and awe. Thanks again to the man at the front desk with excellent English and a kind demeanor who helped with my wallet. Really everyone was wonderful and it really makes a difference. I tell everyone to stay there and it’s because of the great service.

GGuest UserHad a really good stay overall! The hotel was clean and in a great location—easy to get around and explore the area. The room was comfortable with all the essentials, and the bed was cozy. Staff were helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, though it could’ve had a bit more variety. Solid experience and definitely worth a stay!

MMei YinStayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out

GGuest UserClean, comfortable and convenient! The hotel staff are helpful and pleasant. The young lady, Zhu Ling, gave us her WeChat number when we checked in so we could contact her whenever we had questions or requests. That's some service assurance! The maintenance lady volunteered to go to the laundry room to help us out when she overheard we had issues using the washing machine. The room is clean and spacious and the train station is close by. Their free breakfast was fresh and delicious. Definitely will be back if we come to Nanchang again!

DDavid AyrVery modern and superb facilities. Very reasonable price indeed considering the extremely high quality of the rooms and of the excellent service. Although the staff are not fluent in English, they use translation sofrware to supplement their English language knowledge and the staff are extremely helpful. The note that I sent to the staff thanking them says it all (see below). I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserThe main focus is convenient. Go out and turn right and execute about 300 meters. It is the No. 1 subway. Jewellery Street, Wanshou Palace, Tengwang Pavilion, Bayi Square, Qiushui Square, etc. are all on the same line, and it is very close to super fast. I have lived twice. I think it is more convenient here.

I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city.
The Good:
1. Comfortable Rooms:
The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets.
2. Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay.
3. Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables.
4. Service:
The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
5. Location:
The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city.
The Drawbacks:
1. Room Size:
While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped.
2. Limited Dining Options:
While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery.
3. Noise:
Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers.
