NNsangtfThe homestay is located in the village next to the highway. The room is remodeled from the old house and there is a stream behind the house. Checking in during the May Day holiday, the temperature was more than 30 degrees that day. After I checked in, I was told that the water was cut off and said that it was being repaired. After taking the children to play in the creek in the afternoon, it was still not repaired and it was impossible to take a bath normally. After staying up until after dinner, the water came, but with the yellow water of the sand, I still couldn't take a bath. After repeated inquiries, the hotel staff said that the water supply could be restored before ten o'clock. After 10 o'clock with the child, I was told that the pipe was not repaired, and the water released from the faucet was still yellow with sand. Finally, we gave a bucket of mineral water to let us brush our teeth and wash our face. A family of three people brought sweat like this. They slept all night like a year. More than 1,000 homestays could not guarantee a water supply and bath. This may be the price of choosing a ”homestay”. It also reminds us to choose a homestay carefully when we go out in the future. The good mood of all travel was swept away, and the water supply was not restored the next morning. We originally planned to finish lunch at the hotel the next day and then set off to Tiantangzhai. We could temporarily change the plan and hurry to go to Tiantangzhai Hotel to take a shower!

In the morning, I was awakened by the bird. I opened the curtains and saw the morning mist around the mountain. In the evening, I sat on the terrace and watched the sunset dyed the red water. I took wallpaper-level pictures. The adults looked at the comfort, and the baby also chased the butterfly and ran non-stop.
Bringing a baby to the stream to catch the snails is definitely the biggest highlight! The homestay is super close to the stream, the water is not deep and clear, and it is particularly comfortable to step in bare feet. The baby went crazy as soon as he arrived at the stream. He squatted on the stone to fish for the snails. He was shocked and happy when he touched the slippery snails with his hands. He was too muddy to come up. This kind of joy of being close to nature is more meaningful than watching cartoons at home.
