We stayed here in April. The location is very good as it’s just near Wengen train station. The breakfast is good! 😊 The staff are nice. However, as they are doing some renovations, we have to go to a different hotel if we want to use hotel amenities. Apart from that everything is good. Recommended!

The location of the hotel is really good. Walking out is the dreamy hillside, next to the train station, and walking up there is a small town supermarket and some small shops. It is also very close to the first Shandong cable car. Although it is a hotel that is more than 100 years old, the infrastructure is also super good, with everything it should have, and the breakfast is also very good.

The view from the room is superb, with lakes and mountains, and you can see the snow-capped mountains; the scenery on the way from Interlaken to the hotel is also excellent, which is a very good hotel choice for self-driving, and it is a highlight of this trip; if you are not driving, the hotel provides free up and down bus tickets; the hotel has a mini golf practice field, with distant mountains, nearby lakes and a full moon, which is a rare experience; the hotel has a self-service laundry room, and you pay 6 francs to get laundry detergent and washing machine and clothes dryer coins; the room is a duplex, relatively large; the ladies at the front desk are very friendly, and they are very patient in explaining when borrowing rackets and clubs. Of course, driving on mountain roads is a bit of a test of skills; except for the high price, everything else is very good.

Nice mountain view from the room, but the room is not big. The hotel located 10 mins walk from the Grindlewald station and 2 mins walk from the First Bahn to go Grindlewald First. The breakfast is nice but it’s only open at 7am hence it’s quite rush if you have early activity which you have to leave the hotel early e.g to go to Jung frau.

The best and most expensive hotel in the area. The room facing the Jungfrau during the peak season costs nearly 20,000 per night, which is still painful. It's my second time staying here. I made a mistake the first time and booked a suite, thinking it must face the Jungfrau, but it turned out not to be. It was an L-shaped room, half of which faced the mountain behind. So the view of the suite is definitely better than all the big beds. Later, I asked the front desk, and they told me that if I wanted to book a room facing the Jungfrau, I should remember one word: all the rooms with deluxe face the Jungfrau. I booked it correctly the second time, but I didn't communicate by email in advance, so I was given a room on the 3rd floor. I forgot whether it was 5 or 6 floors in total, so after booking, remember to ask the agent to email and reserve a room on a high floor. I think the overall cost performance is average. It's enough to experience it once. For the same price, I can book an airbnb nearby with a view 10 blocks away for a week (see the last picture)

The location, the appearance is first-class, the room facilities are relatively old, and the antique furniture is also popular. It is not as good as expected, but it is not bad. You can drive into the hotel. The road is relatively narrow. There is an access control card on the last section of the road. Finally, I contacted the hotel in advance to ask for the password. Regarding the up and down of the cable car, sit for a while, hotel guests are free, you need to show your room card, remember to watch the timetable, don't miss the last bus. The view of the restaurant is very good and the service is attentive, but the food is as bad as ever, oh, I am not saying that this hotel is bad, I mean that all restaurants in Switzerland are bad (this breakfast is very good, you can go early, choose Facing the location of the waterfall, but the dinner is really hard to describe), unpalatable is one thing, full of ritual, each dish is served slowly, come up to explain to you what raw materials are used in this dish, how to make it, and if you actually taste it All restaurants in Switzerland, including but not limited to this one, are lacking in color and fragrance. My wife waited for the desserts to be served and hurriedly retreated. She panicked and forgot to take the bag. We booked two rooms for a family trip and asked to be arranged closer or on the same floor. In the end, we were given two floors... The room was spacious but the facilities were simple. The service attitude was excellent. They also arranged a car to take us to the train station for free before leaving. It was very close to the Dream Hill.

When we first entered the room, we saw corpses of mosquitoes everywhere on the wall, and there were mosquitoes flying everywhere in the room. A few of them were killed and sprayed blood. The bedside table lamp was also broken. Fortunately, after contacting the receptionist, we were allowed to change rooms. It was very convenient. It's hard to imagine how uncomfortable this night would have been if I hadn't changed rooms. After all, I spent nearly 10,000 Taiwan dollars. I shouldn't have come here to suffer. I give the lady at the counter a big thumbs up.
The biggest selling point here is the heated swimming pool, which directly faces the Eiger and Grindelwald slopes. It is open from 12 to 21 o'clock. If it were not for the swimming pool, I might not choose this one due to hygiene reasons.

Friendly front desk staff and the hotel location is gorgeous.
The frontdesk helped me with an early checkin and also upgraded my room with a bath-tub. The view from the room balcony was Mesmerizing and nothing short of a heavenly view…
The breakfast was descent, however a little short of vegetarian options.
The chocolates at the reception desk were amazing, better than Lindt. I wish I could know where they sourced them from😁
Harder Kulm (Top of Interlaken) entrance is just in front of the hotel.
The market is at walking distance and also the OST station is very closeby.

NNgBrandonWe reached Intelaken early and the hotel reception was nice to allow us an early check-in. Although the exterior of the hotel is old, however, I was surprised when I went into the room. It is newly renovated and very tasteful. It is clean and I love that they have a rack to hang our jackets when we enter the room. The room comes with a nice balcony over looking the roundabout.
Amenties: Hotel provide free coffee and hot chocolate at the hotel lobby (great for waiting). They even have a portable water tap that I use to fill my bottles (buying bottled water in Switzerland is expensive).
Breakfast: Usual spread (scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, sausages). They have a great coffee machine and I will drink at least 2 cups of black coffee during breakfast. They even have a nice view of the Swiss alps which makes a great start to our day.

Next we were blown away by the breathtaking mountain views from this hotel. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.
Every room was clean and uniquely decorated with their heart (we booked 2 rooms for 4 adults).
Breakfast was delicious with something special everyday not to mention the stunning view.
Dani checks the weather in the morning and gave us great and helpful advise for us to plan our day.
We also had a great time playing with Heidi their friendly fur baby!
Will definitely stay here again!

They provide bedroom slippers provided, toothbrush, shaver & cream, cotton pad, safe, hair dryer, etc. These advanced amenities definitely make our stay nothing short of perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much!
The location of the hotel was awesome. It's just a few minutes walk to the Interlaken West Station. There's also many different buses u can take to many different beautiful attractions like Lake Brienz.
I have seen many reviews about the cheese fondue from their restaurant. We tried it too & was so in love with it. As we brought our 3.5yrs old child along, we can only have cheese fondue without alcohol. We replaced it with apple juice at an additional cost of 5chf. Indeed food was really good! And the waiters were really kind & friendly. They were very kind & patient with our little girl. She was given colouring materials for entertainment. Thanks to the waiters. We had lots of laughter while enjoying our meals.
Oh yes, there's a big fluffy black cat who often patronise the hotel & restaurant. It usually sleeps on the first chair near the left of the entrance. Staff of the hotel & restaurant are really nice, loving little animals & taking care of them very well.
Overall, it was a very wonderful experience staying here. We would gladly come back again!

Front office staff & Housekeeping was kind to provide a few more additional bottles for our 3 nights stay. Our room was facing the road but we had very quiet & peaceful rest. The view from the window was breathtaking. The staff at the restaurant provide excellent service and took care of us very well during our stay. We will definitely come back to stay again when in Interlaken.
The location of the hotel can be access by bus 103 from both Interlaken west & Interlaken ost train stations or a 15 mins walk from Interlaken Ost train station. Very convenient. Easy to locate.
However, it will not be the place for the budget conscious. You are in Switzerland anyway, pamper yourself to the high ”quality of life”

AAnonymous UserThe room is well equipped with basic amenities and quality of products used in the room for guests are good. Hotel breakfasts are delicious. Overall the hotel experience at Royal at Georges is memorable and we are satisfied with the hotel stay there. The location is around ten minutes away from interlaken ost station. However there is clock tower nearby which chimes a lot during the night.

QQiongziThe best hotel I stayed in during my self-driving tour in Switzerland.
First of all, the hotel is very, very, very beautiful. It has its own large parking lot, free parking, and there is a super large lawn behind the parking lot.
Secondly, it takes less than 15 minutes to walk to Interlaken West Station, Chinese restaurants and hot pot restaurants, and the central shopping street.
Thirdly, the service is very, very good. The lady at the front desk introduced herself as Italian, so she used Google Translate on the iMac computer at the front desk to explain the check-in instructions to us in detail: there is an elevator to go up and down the stairs 🛗 There is afternoon tea (including coffee, drinks and desserts) from 2pm to 6pm. If you return late at night, you need to use the room card to open the hotel door. Free tourist bus tickets were given, etc. It was very detailed and nice.
The room has a pleasant view, the small balcony is very elegant, and the facilities are also very new and modern. There are hair dryers, kettles, disposable mouthwash cups, and enough bath towels. In short, it is a perfect stay experience, recommended!

GGuest UserThis is a treasure hotel. It is rare to come across such an unforgettable hotel. The location is in Wengen, not very central like Interlaken, but the train station is not far away and can be easily reached on foot. The service staff is very enthusiastic. Because I asked to expedite the laundry, they also tried their best to help. The most important thing is that the balcony of the room looks out to the distant mountains, and the scenery is beautiful! Sitting on the balcony and watching the sun shining on the mountains and the waterfall, I can't help but feel a lot of emotions. There is such a hotel in the world. The breakfast is very rich. ZzhubaoermaThe hotel is in a very good location. There are various shops outside. There are buses 103 and 21 at the intersection. You can take the bus for free with the transportation card issued by the hotel, and you can also get a souvenir silver spoon. The owner is Chinese. There is Fu Ji Restaurant downstairs. Guests can enjoy a 10% discount. The room is big enough. The bedding doesn't feel very new, but we always bring disposable bedding when we go out, so it's okay. It feels like a homestay, and the view from the small balcony is also good. It feels similar to the four-star hotel opposite us.
