Un sitio muy emblemático te evoca al tiempo en que el palacio estaba en todo su esplendor, con sus estancias y salones. Los jardines muy bonitos así como todo lo que le rodea. Sitio totalmente recomendable. El personal como siempre de paradores excelente en su trato y amabilidad. Paradores no defrauda.

Todo muy satisfactorio ,tanto las instalaciones como el personal del hotel es un hotel muy recomendable para pasar unos días de tranquilidad y descanso,incluso hacer una visita a Viseu ciudad muy cuidada en su zona monumental que merece la pena ver está a 25minutos del hotel

5 estrellas. Hotel único. Un museo. La realidad es que puedes sentir lo que es vivir en un palacio. Vaya por delante que es un hotel pequeño y eso puede también condicionar las dimensiones que tienen tanto de personal como de variedad de lo ofrecido. Todo único, me encantó pero hay detalles.. Las habitaciones no siguen la línea palaciega y eso rompe la sensación. La televisión es muy pequeña para este tipo de hotel y la bañera estrecha e incómoda para una ducha. No hay duchas. El desayuno poco variado para la categoría. Entiendo con que con 35 habitaciones tampoco vas a pedir mucho alimento para que se quede después. A mi entender 4 sup. Pero no 5 estrellas que tiene por especial y único pero no por servicio en mi opinión.

Our stay at Casa da Insua was a dream! The property is just stunning, with the vast gardens, vineyards, a pool, and even sheep grazing! The interior of the castle is its very own museum, with plenty of rooms and halls to explore. Our room was the perfect combination of historic charm and modern hotel luxury. We would recommend doing the wine tasting in one of the historic kitchens with Diogo, who was excellent! Our stay was one to remember.

Único alojamiento que tiene franquiciado Paradores en Portugal a la empresa hotelera Montebelo. Es una casa solariega del siglo XVIII magníficamente conservada. Se pueden recorrer sus salones, ambientados con muebles y cuadros de época o pasear por su extensísima finca. Nos dieron un plano del lugar para no perdernos. Incluso nos acompañaron a la habitación, ya que aquello es como un laberinto si no lo conoces. Nos quedamos impresionados por el jardín francés, con su lago de los cisnes y su estanque con flores de loto. No menos imponente es el jardín inglés, con árboles centenarios. Fue un placer visitar la quesería y ver cómo se fabrican los quesos que producen y venden. También degustamos los vinos de su bodega y sus mermeladas. Los dos días de estancia resultaron perfectos, gracias a la amabilidad de todos los empleados. La habitación era muy amplia, con dos camas muy cómodas. El cuarto de baño también era espacioso. Solo lamentamos no disponer de cabina de ducha; la bañera no nos resultó muy cómoda. Las noches fueron sumamente tranquilas: no se oía absolutamente nada. Pero hay que saber que estamos en el campo, por lo que conviene que las ventanas permanezcan cerradas. A nuestro regreso de la cena, nos encontramos con un murciélago volando por toda la habitación, que parecía estar casi más asustado que nosotros. Al cerrar las luces, se marchó por donde había entrado.
