Had the most amazing roast - plenty of veg, the meat was succulent and the gravy so tasty, then had a sweet - a baked custard tart OMG it was absolutely incredible. Gotta be the best roast dinner in the area

Used to really love this place, but recently, it has lost its spark. The once warm and homely atmosphere has been ruined by menu changes. Myself and many others have all agreed that the good old pub grub was what we came for. I tried to give it a chance, but was massively disappointed by increased prices and decreased portions. Really really hope to see the once bubbly, lively and traditional seaside pub that we all love eventually return.

Loved the meal and atmosphere of the wayfarer . All the staff were lovely. Marley an Tom are waiters were awesome and very polite. The food was excellent. Great place to go to celebrate a family day out. We will be returning later in the year. Many thanks to all at the wayfarer.

Parking useless. Stairs steep.
An Oldie Worldie Inn.
Evening meal amazing.

Kath myself and a good friend had a lovely roast lunch including roast lamb which was melt in your mouth followed up by 3 lovely desserts all washed down with one of my favourite real ales Dartmoor brewery's Legend. We have ate there many times and have always had a lovely meal and experience.

Great pub! We love a good roasts and these are the best and always generous in vegetables. We were welcomed in by Marley who served us and was very attentive, joyful and happy to help. We love this pub and will be back for a roast soon! The best pub in Instow, the beer garden is worth sitting in for sun and a pint.

Very helpful and pleasant staff. We stayed for a night and had a good dinner and breakfast. Simply furnished seaside inn, comfortable bed. Bathroom was basic but all worked and did the job.
