old basic simple motel. The man at check in was nice and very helpful but charged me extra for having my two kids with me. i’ve never been charged extra for kids but it was only $10. The room was clean and the area was safe. worth it if your saving money

I was there 20 plus years ago .. Landed at night on Dec 31 just before New Years .. George MacKenzie and his son Georgie were managing the motel.. Super wicked nice folks and had the trio of a life time.. I’m a Maritimer from Canada and it turned out so was George but from New Brunswick… I was so happy to do a search and find that the motel still exists and is still open… All the best and I really hope to get back some day… Love from Cape Breton.. Cabot Trail.

Plusses and minuses
I have often stayed at this motel due to its convenient location for my travels. The area is quiet, except for the sketchy Circle K down the block. It is a clean old motel room. Beds are pretty hard and uncomfortable. Rooms are huge. It is cool and everything works.
