Comfort Inn & Suites

Wow, what a nice hotel, not your typical Comfort Inn!!! The lobby is nicely done with a has fireplace and TV to watch if you'd like to get out of your room for a bit. The room was nice with comfortable beds, huge TV and a nicely done bathroom and shower. I had my dog and the hotel has a nice layout for 4 legged fur kids. The gym is perfect and new with a everything you need again, nicely done.The staff are super nice and made me and my dog feel a home here. The breakfast is very good and the coffee is amazing and available 24hrs a day!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This motel has been extensively remodeled and though I didn't inspect every room, my impression is that the rooms are significantly upgraded. Consequently, some of the reviews and pictures I see here probably no longer apply (no pool anymore). Our room was clean and updated to current decor. Queen bed was great (I don't like hard or semi-hard beds), with nice pillows, sheets and blankets. Air conditioner worked well though it took a little bit to figure out how to work it. The TV screen was great, though it was impossible to figure out the show schedule (channel 19 provided the overview of channels). The hallways were decent though could have used a vacuuming. The exercise room was very good, though an instruction sheet on operating the treadmill, spin bike, elliptical, and rowing machine would have been helpful -- the good part was that they all WORKED. The breakfast offerings were very good, including the DYI waffle option, though picky me would have liked a broader selection of oatmeal packets, and having un-sugared raisin bran as a cereal option. The scrambled eggs and sausage offerings were great. The staff was very gracious, welcoming and appropriately conversational.

Thick layers of dust under the chair in the suite, rusted out electric heaters. Only one garbage bin. Second time I’ve stayed here and most likely the last. Guests below and three dogs in their room that were barking loudly at 6:30am Not worth $250/night.

Housekeeping started the vacuum in the hall on our floor at 8:30am and was banging the vacuum off of each guest room door to, what can only be assumed, wake up all of the guests that weren’t up yet because ‘she was alone’ and needed to start right away. Our checkout wasn’t until 11am but we were forced to wake up and get out at 8:30am so that she could finish her job earlier. Both the cleaning staff and the front desk staff were unbelievably rude about it and felt justified to treat their guest like this. We travel often all over Ontario for our business and have never been treated so poorly. We will never stay at this hotel again simply due to the staff.

Room was spacious and nicely renovated; however, we found dead flies on all the windowsills and the floors needed to be swept.
