This hotel is a bare minimum comfort stay. It is a place to sleep and shower. Linoleum hard floors through out entire property including room which gives it an institution like feeling. Shower curtain does not reach deeply into tub causing flooding after each shower that must be mopped up. Air conditioning is individual unit that is very noisy when compressor is engaged to force cool air. Thermostat does not maintain even temperature so right about the time you wonder if you can stand it there is a burst to cool and then repeats. Two nights cost me over 500.00 and yet these small basic comforts are not in place. Also… noisy because of poor insulation. I seriously contemplated just driving home. It’s not aesthetically pleasant at all… it’s on an empty concrete slab right next to the ten fwy with nearly no landscaping. Feels very “truck stop”. Starbucks across the road and gas station all extremely close. Breakfast with mostly junk foods but had buffet style eggs and sausage my 96 yr old mom liked. But I ate fresh fruit so at least they had that. Expensive for what it is. Indio has a very very long drive to all Coachella valley attractions, good restaurants…etc

Arrived at midday with the intention of dropping our bags off but was allowed to check in and go to our room, which was a nice bonus. We had the 2 bedroom 2 bath room which was well appointed and extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable. We had a patio with table and chairs overlooking the pool. Pool was nice and big with plenty of loungers, but we only went in when the sun had gone down. Breakfast was good with all the usual things you would find at most Homewood suites, only thing missing is having some bacon sometimes. We have stopped here before and cannot fault this property and will definitely be back some day.

My wife and I stayed in one of their 2 private bungalows. The lake view was great, and the hotel could have been really nice but it is very dated. Lots of deferred maintenance. The locks still used keys rather than updated security cards and what could of been a lovely patio had a glass walk in door with only a single lock that anyone could break into. The restaraunt was nice, with a big outdoor patio on the lake. However our breakfast was served to another tablel and they had to remake ours. This same thing happened to another table near us where the breakfast was served to another table. There is no way this is a 4 star hotel . The staff is pleasant enough even though it took 8 hours to get fresh bath towels which they do not replace unless you requet it. No daily maid service. It can really be a nice place if owners would spend money on a myriad of upgrades, including simply paint and patching.

Have stayed here on occassion, not a bad property. I reserved a room for my daughters family, mom dad 8month old. When they went to check in they were informed the hotel will not accomidate you if you have a local address, After explaining, that there A/C system was out in their home and it was to hot for the baby, they were still turned away? Seriously, what are you thinking! Their having an infant party? They don't want your business, find another hotel!

Booed this as it was the cheapest in the area for coachella. Solo traveller. Have previously stayed in a residence inn in Florida and it was a good experience. Arrival was greeted by a friendly receptionist. Directed to room and given a map and explained all amenities to me and also details about the festival shuttles etc. Room was in block 1 on the ground floor. Nice and big with a double bed and kitchen area. Bathroom was amazing and clean. Very good size. Patio doors lead to a very small patio that overlooked the gold course. Lots of gold buggies drive by all day, bushes surround the room so there’s privacy. Bed was comfy. Clean room. Limited kitchen utensils. No kettle. Pool area was nice and clean. DJ started at 10am for the festival goers which was most of the guests at the hotel. Breakfast was basic but good. Paper plates and plastic forks only. Option to take breakfast away your room too. Staff all really friendly and greet everyone. Overall I would totally recommend this place for coachella or a general stay.

To be honest this resort wasn’t our first choice for a girls trip - but I found us a great deal and it had decent reviews. We arrived late at night and were impressed by the spacious entry way. Check-in was quick and easy - although the front desk clerk was perhaps not the most friendly. I asked if he had any tips for us - it was our first time to the area and he said, “umm Palm Springs is about 30 min away”. Yep we just flew in so that’s one thing we did know We had the choice between the main building and outer building. I didn’t know what that meant so I went with main and I’m glad we did. We were in the 6th floor, not far from an elevator which was handy for the Oasis pool area Breakfast in the morning at Rockwood was fantastic. Between the group we tried the American breakfast and Wet Burrito on the first day and it was ll fantastic. The rest of the trip we opted for the buffet. At $32 a person including beverages it was a great deal. The buffet included fruits, bagels and breads, smoked salmon and meats, breakfast potatoes, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles and an omelet station. On the weekend they had a crepe station. The pastry selections were fantastic and delicious. There were 3 pools in the Oasis pool area- a lap pool, larger pool and “upper deck”. The upper deck is just a smaller pool that seemed to be more of an overflow area - would have made sense to be an adults only pool but wasn’t. There were some VIP chairs but for $75 were completely unnecessary on our trip. We had no problem finding pool chairs near the pool and under umbrellas . Water stations around the pool were a nice touch The first day we had one pool server who was amazing and went above and beyond. Think his name was Connor. The next day we had a server that gave us a sign to raise when we wanted help…they sold pool floaties and I asked if we purchased one did the pool in gate them for us…most resort pools do…. She was offended I implied she might blow up the floaty and said we could do it ourselves or try to get a pool boy to do it but she brought the drinks. Ummm. Definitely didn’t expect our server to inflate a floaty - sorry I asked Pool drinks were great. Skip the nachos but the quesadilla was great and only $13 The lobby shop was inflated more than I expected but had a great selection of things you may have forgotten at home - also had pool floaties for $13 compared to $18-25 at the pool. The resort had a lot of fun things to do that we didn’t have time for - mini golf, outside lawn games and boat rides. The hotel bar looked fun and was centrally located Overall a very good stay - exceeded our expectations and I think we’ll be back! Definitely get the breakfast!

Book this hotel for my boyfriend and his mother for her birthday. Got two rooms other than the hotel being very expensive. Hotel was 250 US dollars a night with tax discounted. My boyfriend said breakfast was good and he was very pleased with the appearance of the hotel he said everything looked new and fresh and he was very happy that I booked this hotel for him. His mother also enjoyed watching the trains go by. They did not partake of the pool but would have had they not been spending just one day there. His friend stated another hotel and they were very unhappy and they paid more money than he did.. he said he would stay there again.

We arrived in the evening exhausted from an eight hour flight. The front desk staff was very helpful, but we had difficulty finding our room! The property is very large. Upon entering the room we weren’t exactly feeling as if it was going to be an enjoyable stay. The room was a bit small. However when we awoke we were elated by the beautiful surroundings. The grounds were immaculate and it was so peaceful and lovely!! The room was a bit small, but the cleanliness and patio area made up for that. Bed was extremely comfortable, and it was so quiet there!! My grandchildren visited and they had so much fun in the heated kiddie pool!!! They also had a ball feeding the ducks and climbing on the big turtle, roadrunner, and iguana! This is a terrific stay for folks wishing to unwind. We are very appreciative to the staff who were so friendly, and do such a wonderful job keeping this immense property so well maintained. If you are seeking a wild time this would not be for you. If you are seeking a peaceful respite from this difficult time in history this is the place!!

GGuest UserVery nice to spend a night on our way to Arizona. Room clean and bathroom spacious. The toiletries were top notch. Breakfast had plea Tuesday of options. Staff all friendly and helpful. Only negative is location. Only cone option for dinner without driving off property.
GGuest Usergreat location, right off 10, half hour to Joshua tree, walmart, starbucks, food very close. VERY CLEAN! linens were clean, floors, smelled nice, clean bathroom, great hot water and pressure, excellent lighting in the room, cute little kitchen area, t.v selection awesome. Only thing is breakfast had sugary cereal or pancakes, but good coffee. No coffee offered throughout the day, that would be a plus too. Overall, this Days Inn was worth every penny, as it was also reasonably priced. I would hightly recommend staying here! great staff as well. BRAVO to housekeeping!!! THANK YOU! OHHHH, had a king room, bed and pillows nice and comfy!!!
GGuest UserStayed in a 2 bedroom for a week. The stay itself was good. Beds were comfortable, pillows not bad, one bathroom, though we made it work. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice dining space. A bit dated by I'm not overly fussy. Not enough parking in front of the unit. We had one member in our party in a wheelchair/crutches, and we couldn't get a spot in front of our own room. It was a bit annoying to have to park down the street. It wasn't far, but it would have been nice to park in what I thought should be our spot (at our door). The staff are friendly and helpful. Don't forget to ask for a gate transponder. it makes it easier to get in and out. Pools are a nice temperature. Hot tubs were nice, too. Though one evening, we couldn't get the jets to work. And another afternoon, the hot tub by the laundry was freezing and dirty. I let the office know, not sure when or if it got fixed as we went out. The laundry room is tidy. Machines use an app to pay, which is handy and annoying at the same time. Would stay here again, as none of the annoyances are deal breakers for us.
GGuest UserI rated this budget hotel as average because of the low $89 room rate. I would have rated it poor if the room rate was higher. You get what you pay for here. A small room with old furniture that is not particularly well cleaned. The bathroom was clean, but the floors were dirty. Walking in the room made white socks black with dirt. However, it was quiet even though the hotel was full. The included breakfast consisted of bad coffee, inedible eggs, and not much else. An inedible breakfast is now standard at budget hotels.
After surveying hotels/motels in the valley the two biggest complaints are rude staff and dirty rooms at varying price points. I chose this motel specifically because other reviews mentioned how kind the staff is and it has clean rooms. And it’s all true. A/C worked great, 117 outside. Very Clean room, bathroom, floors & sheets. Smelled sterile. In-room Fridge-biggest I’ve seen in motel w/big freezer. Helpful for freezing my ice vests. Black out curtains-block sun light and heat significantly. Helps. Safety-no problems, no riff-raff, no dealers. Mostly folks here appear to be traveling through and are just stopping to sleep. Negative- the TV is so small and is placed in such a weird spot, so far away from the bed that you cannot see it…it’s against the furthest possible wall from the bed 20 ft away, hanging from the top of ceiling 9 ft up. So no TV for me this night. Bizarre. I wanted an inexpensive place to rest with basics and the motel is exactly as advertised. Except for that TV.
Omg no hot water to shower, cold cold water and a very Bad Experience at check-in desk i gave the lady my ID & I had my creit card in my hand ready for deposit, The lady said $100 CASH only deposit & i told her i have never paid CASH at any hotel for deposit & that I have stayed here before & never paid cash & she told me again $100 Cash only so I asked if she will give me reciept for the Cash she said yes so i took $100 & put cash in the counter & she wrote it with a pen so i ask her if she can sign her name please, wow she got all mad & started ranting she was just going to cancel my room & put no show & for me to leave & that i could’nt stay and i said no you can’t cancel over a signature if you writing with a pen I need a signature its not printed ink reciept so i ask to speak to the manager cause she kept ranting to leave she was canceling me & she said she was the manager so i said I want to speak to someone higher cause she can’t cancel me if im complying & its pre-paid. So after all her ranting she still gave me my room finally. My room bathroom toilet was plugged the water would no go down the drain without plounger so i was changed to another room but i will never come here again that is a rude lady or manager at check-In desk I would of argued with her or got mad & left but all I wanted was my room to relax & rest after a long day. 😡
