We had an almost comical stay at the Le Méridien Indianapolis this past weekend. I should add that previously, when visiting Indy, I have stayed at the Conrad. Familiar with the Le Meridien brand and its 4star rating, I thought I'd switch it up...which was a mistake. The lobby itself is gorgeous, with the restaurant at the very front. The staff will rave about the restaurant to you but it was nearly empty throughout the entire stay (we opted to eat elsewhere so cannot speak to quality of the food). Upon arriving and entering our room, like past reviewers have noted, the rooms are quite small. The hotel is updated, which is nice, however, some of the furniture looked a little beat up. Problem #1 that we encountered: The shower water pressure was inadequate and there was absolutely no hot water in our room. I called the desk to inquire about this issue (because we had dinner plans and I needed to shower...preferably not in a cold shower). She put me on hold for awhile to investigate the situation...then shared that maintenance is working and there will not be any steam or hot water "for several hours." I was confused why she hadn't been in touch with maintenance prior to them turning off the hot water/this would have been nice to know upon arrival. Totally threw off our plans. The receptionist did not offer any solutions/efforts, just a measly apology. Second, though some of the hotel has been updated, certain aspects are lacking. The TV in our room was very dated, approx half the buttons on the remote didn't work, no casting/mirroring capabilities (it advertises such but it does not work). After our failed discussion about cold water I did not bother to call the desk about this. But I will be reaching out to Le Meridien corporate because, simply put, this hotel did not feel luxurious at all, and I've stayed in Hampton Inns that have better amenities and accommodations. Additionally, like other reviewers have noted, street noise is loud. Do not recommend Le Meridien Indianapolis. Spend your money at the Conrad if you want actual 4+ star accomodations.

I stayed at this property for a couple days in April 2024 for the total solar eclipse. As always, let's go pros and cons. PROS 1. The property is in a great location in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. It's next to the Circle Center Mall, St. Elmo's restaurant, a 5-minute walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse and the convention center (opposite directions), a 10-minute walk to Lucas Oil Stadium, and many restaurants are within a close walk. It's only 15-minute drive from the airport with no traffic. 2. The hotel staff members were friendly and helpful. 3. My room's HVAC unit worked properly with little noise. 4. The elevators and related waiting area were very small but operated frequently. CONS 1. Cleanliness - Upon arrival to our room, we found sanitary napkin remnants in the bathroom. We called the hotel staff to remove it. The carpet was old and needed to be vacuumed and steam cleaned. 2. The TV's remote channel guide was confusing. 3. There was limited space on the bathroom counter, the beds were lumpy and soft, providing very little back support. The room had limited seating space. 4. There was no complimentary breakfast. The hotel restaurant served breakfast that was the quality of a complimentary breakfast but priced well above the quality and portion sizes (staff was friendly, though). OVERALL: The highlight of this hotel is its location. It's expensive for the amenities provided and I was immediately turned off at the room's (un)cleanliness. If and when I travel again to Indianapolis, I'll likely stay at a different property.

Very comfortable stay with top flight staff. Due to a cancelled flight I ended up staying an additional night after I had checked out and the team was helpful and gracious, greeting me by name as returned. Room was up to date and mostly well cleaned. To note - only two bath towels were provided - not even enough for me alone, let alone if I had been with someone else. I am sure they would have quickly provided more if requested, but wet and dripping, it wasn’t really an option. Also, pocket on bed with local info and room service menu was rather dirty and the menu itself so stained I didn’t really want to handle it. Lastly - my all but universal plea - put a small stool in the shower for leg shaving purposes and get rid of the pumped shower products!

Filthy sheets with stains of unknown, but disgusting, origin. Was given a room two feet from a loud elevator even though my profile explicitly says away from elevator. Person at the reception was extremely rude bordering on aggressive. Marriott should be ashamed of this property and treatment of guests (lifetime gold).

This property is entirely adequate. The front desk staff was welcoming in a ‘down-home’ sort of way. The bartenders were informative if not a bit opinionated. No biggy. The ‘Classic’ room was small with a beautiful view of the HVAC equipment in the vicinity. The windows definitely need a washing. Our only struggle staying here was with the bed that they clearly brought in from my parents house. There were two saddles and a giant hump between my wife and I. And it had nothing to do with me! I think it’s time for new beds, guys. And if this is too much to ask, could you please add chiropractic care to the room service menu?

Total bait and switch! I reserved a deluxe room after looking at the pictures on the website. We received a room that looks just like a classic room. I wanted the seating area or I would not have paid the extra fee! So much for being a Marriott Bonvoy member—-no benefit with that!

We highly recommend this hotel. Le Meridien was a lovely place to stay. It is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis but just shy of all the other large hotels. The minute we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly front desk staff who updated us on hotel ammenities such as free coffee and tea in the morning in the hotel restaurant, restaurant hours, where to dine locally. Every time we exited the elevator, we were greeted by the front desk with genuine smiles. We had the King corner room which was clean, nicely furnished and had windows on 2 sides of the room. The room is not overly large but is extremely comfortable w small fridge, closet, safe, iron, blow dryer and amazing views. Even the hallways are decorative and quiet. We utilized the parking garage just across the street and paid about $40 per day. Indianapolis is a very walkable city. The hotel is perfectly located to see the war monuments, canal district, white river state park, restaurants on Mass Ave and Lockerbie square and Fletcher place. The bar/restaurant is very cozy and is open for breakfast thru a late night drink. The lobby is very inviting with interesting art, a fire place, etc. As a couple on a weekend get a way, we appreciated all that Le Meridien offered and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here one night when attending the Eagles concert and dining at St Elmo. Very convenient location in downtown Indianapolis. Room was very nice and staff was friendly. Valet parking is available and they have a restaurant and bar.

Nice hotel. Clean and in great condition. Bed was really comfortable and linens very nice high end. I liked that the room service menu was under the glass top on the desk. What it’s missing from my expectations for the price. No mimi bar. No sheers on the windows. The bathroom is not well thought out. The vanity is tiny for a couple and it had room to be larger. No towel hooks near the shower. The barn style sliding door is noisy when someone uses the bathroom at night. Better room for one travel than a couple.
