Clean facility with courteous and professional staff.

There is nothing special about this place other than it is close to relatives in Fort Mill. Typical for most places, they do not provide service for your room unless you fill out a form at the front desk one day in advance. Their message says bring your dirty towels to the front desk and exchange for a clean set. Except Ms. Congeniality working the front desk Sunday night, says you should leave the towels in the hallway and not bring them down. They do provide a breakfast but it did not look very appealing to me, so we went to the Big View diner about one mile away.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel. I am permanently disabled. I booked our stay on the phone. When making this reservation, I said I was unable to shower, so I needed a room with a tub and safety bars in addition to a shower for for my husband. They told me only queen rooms had tubs. The email confirmation never arrived. The day of our stay arrived. Upon check in, we were told they had called an hour earlier to tell us we didn't have a tub in the room. On my phone it showed 19 minutes. We live 45 minutes away. They claimed to have emailed me, but there were no emails, not in spam, not in my main email. The only solution was a more expensive room. We could not afford it. I told them I was permanently disabled and their attitude was, oh well. You're SOL. The front desk lady was extremely rude. Had I known about the room not having a tub, I would have booked elsewhere. Next came our room. The shower only had 2/3 of a door. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room was uncomfortably warm. The bed was also too small. One bedside light was burned out. Breakfast was 6-9. It looked like there was major water damage on the ceiling. This was the worst experience at a hotel either of us have ever had and we won't be returning

TownePlace Suites was very convenient for our travels to Fort Mill. We were impressed at how quiet our room was, the staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. I would definitely stay there again on our next trip to SC.

Good location. Pet friendly. Breakfast was meh, but you do have a kitchenette on your room. Nice layout on the rooms. Shower needed a little elbow grease to clean up some mold in the shower. Overall a decent value.

Pre-paid through *******, check-in was a breeze. Front desk clerk was nice and the rooms were clean!

Newer property and well located to South Charlotte and S Carolina state line. Property and rooms were clean and well stocked. My only complaint was the rock hard mattress making a comfortable night’s sleep very difficult

No closing door for the shower in bathroom and no response from front desk after calling many times due to the items we forget.

This was the worst Marriott I have stayed in. Front desk staff with one exception was exorbitantly rude and made us feel unwelcome. They were very terse with us as well regarding getting any kind of room cleaning during the course of our lengthy stay as if we were a giant imposition. They didn't even follow through on one the room cleanings we had to confirm multiple times. You would think that the staff would be flitting around the hotel, busy as can be, but most of the time, any staff we saw were milling about the lobby, making coffee drinks and holding up the guests from getting any coffee or tea, or were on their cell phones and gossiping amongst themselves. I think they need a break room there. I also had a dramatically long wait at the front desk because we did not have shower soap in our suite. They wouldn't bring this to me and they had left a totally empty container of it in the shower. I finally got a few small bottles and then had to persistently remind them to replace the actual soap container and ultimately took care of the on my own. This hotel is largely sub par in customer care.
