The meals are served and then taken outside once you've cleaned up. It's all self-service. All the food is served at once. Cold food is also served. You have to clean the table yourself. It was disappointing that there were no extra plates either... The room was nice, but the sound of the purified water in the bath was so loud I couldn't sleep. The exhaust fan was also very loud. This is a nicer inn so they should improve that. You have to pay in advance. I wish they'd included more information about the meals and prices in the catalogue and on the inn's website. I should have gone to a hot spring inn in Kinugawa.

The room was spacious and had a bubble bath and an open-air bath, so I was able to relax, but I think it can be cheaper because the meals are home-cooked.
