Inari Hotels with Wi-Fi

Great experience and very good service. Also priced really well. The location was beautiful and guides very good . We got picked up from our hotel and dropped back again . Over all everything went like clockwork. One recommendation is dress warm we had our own gear but northern lights village provided gear . It does get very cold

Nice place to stay with easy access to amenities and holiday activities. Breakfast spread is good and facilities are well upkeep. Room price is on the expensive side with limited availability. Due to the placement of the rooms, it might be challenging for some people, especially older folks, to move from reception to their rooms to carry their baggage. There are no WiFi, TV, fridge, or desk phone in certain rooms. Most likely a one-time experience to stay and that's about it.

An absolute amazing time exploring magical Inari. Hotel was amazing and having your private sauna is so nice after those fun but cold activities. Hotel staff were always very friendly and welcoming and the activities are so much fun. Husky sledding and the auroras were a real highlight for us. The food was always amazing quality. However, this does sadly bring me into the one negative that we have. My wife doesn’t eat fish but does eat all other meats and this was passed on to the hotel several months in advance. When it came to evening meal, the set menu we had as part of our package was heavily fish based which resulted in my wife having vegetarian dishes. When I queried this and expressed that my wife eats all other meats, the reply back from the kitchen was that they wouldn’t make her anything else. This was a real shame as everything else was incredible (vegetarian dishes were also really good). Finally, a thank you to wilderness Juutua and we will be back.

The homestay is very good, the environment is very good, but check in and breakfast are not in the same place, you have to drive to the supermarket to get it, some helpless, but call the information, they warmly explain, breakfast is also very good!

We had a fantastic stay in the beginning of January 2024. Our Standard Room without sauna (all other rooms/cabins were booked) was in a row with little huts. The room was big and cosy. You can book private time slots in a sauna viewing the frozen lake via reception. The activities are great fun (we did husky sled ride, reindeer farm visit, snow shoe walking) in small groups and the trips are well organized. Should you need warm clothes you can borrow everything for free. Snow suit, shoes, woollen socks, helmet, ….We brought our own clothes but I borrowed a snow suit for the husky ride . At arrival we had -21 C degrees (-5,8 F). Was not bad at all. It only feels very cold when you have an icy wind in addition. Dinner is delicious !!! Breakfast was horrible gluten free bread o n l y (in the evening they had normal freshly made yummy bread) & gluten free pancake dough, lactose free cheese (this is the only cheese available in Finland, because people there can not tolerate lactose). Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day so I was not impressed. The staff was cheerful, helpful and always asked about your day. They must have heard every activity story a million times but they still get excited with you. Very sweet. In the beginning of January it was still very dark, (sun) rise of light about 10am and sunset about 2 pm. We did not see the northern lights. One fellow guest had been at the hotel at the exact days the year before and saw them every day (and therefore had booked the same dates 2024 ;-). So you never know. It is an adults only hotel and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Wifi only works at reception = the big house with guest lounge/breakfast&dinner room. Advice: Bring a special spray or anti fog wipes if you wear glasses. You need it when you wear a balaclava or scarf over your nose. Also heat pads for you shoes are great, I was happy with the pads from the heat company. I loved it there and would come again.

A truly unique experience in northern Lapland! From booking to check-out, the process was smooth and straightforward. Atte, Alexa, and team were responsive, organized, warm, and gracious hosts, and both the basecamp and mobile cabin were spotless and well-outfitted as all prior reviews shared. Note that snow suits and boots are provided for those in need at the basecamp, along with WCs, showers, towels, and space to store any snacks/drinks you might wish to bring with you. While we unfortunately didn't have time to take advantage of any of the activities, we did reserve spaces in the grill hut for a delicious meal and terrific conversation (I'd note that for those interested in ice fishing, Atte is a skilled guide). The mobile cabins themselves were wholly original, compact yet comfortable rooms on runners. They are pulled out on the ice at 8 pm and retrieved at 8 am, giving you many quiet and peaceful hours on the lake with the lights of homes and Inari town in the distance. Our evening was mostly overcast so we saw only one hint of aurora, but one can imagine the show when the sky is clear. We wrapped our visit with a delicious homecooked breakfast back at basecamp and engaging conversation with our hosts and other guests. For those looking for an igloo-style lodging experience in a more intimate, personalized, and adventurous setting, this fills the bill - and more. We came looking for peace and snow, and that's what we found. the accommodation is located right on the river bank, surrounded by a snowy forest. the area is quiet and peaceful and you can explore the entire small village by foot. We went snowshoeing in a quiet forest. after the trip, we got to know Finnish sauna culture and even went to dip in the snow. at the end of the sauna, we were lucky and saw the northern lights from the hotel yard. Next to the hotel is a big supermarket where we ate ribs and a pub where we enjoyed hot cocoa. We recommend it to everyone who wants to relax, away from the hustle and bustle and experience winter.
