Tenuta Torre Rossa Farm & Apartments

Beautiful property and wonderful staff! We came on a family trip to Italy and stayed in a three bedroom apartment with 6 people. It was a real treat to stay at tenuta torre rossa and would definitely stay again the next time we visit Italy! The grounds and property are well maintained and the Olive groves are beautiful and the perfect place to take a morning stroll. Views of the Tuscan countryside were breathtaking as well! The kitchen and washing machines in unit were very convenient as well. Don’t hesitate to book!

This was a great place to stay for four days as our Tuscan base. Surrounded by olive groves, it's a beautiful location to stay with views of the Arno Valley. The pool and gym are added features that make relaxing at the venue more appealing than the many nearby attractions.

We just checked out and are already planning our next stay at this amazing oasis! I traveled with my husband and two children (ages 8 and 6) and Tenuta Torre Rossa was perfect for our family. The apartment was clean and spacious Pros and tips: - bring a bathing suit! The pool is a must in the summer and very nice. - air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms was amazing, especially in the July Italian heat! - recommend a rental car so you can explore the region to the fullest! The roads are tiny though, so get ready :) - the kitchen is well stocked, so great place to be able to make some food at home - we drove into Florence almost every day. Parking at Parcheggio Oltrarno but Porto Romana. 15min drive and then a 15min walk to Ponte Vecchio. Perfection! - perfect for kids! The pool was amazing and it was so spacious for us. We met many other families at the pool from all over the world and that was amazing! Graziemille Eleonora and the entire team!

Beautiful outlook in a tranquil setting. We are just checking out of our apartment (reluctantly). A great week in a great location. The 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for our small family and despite others being in the complex of apartments, we didn’t see a soul all week! Apartment had absolutely everything necessary for a self-catering holiday and the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever had on holiday. Location is perfect for Florence, the Chianti region and only 10-minutes from the motorway means you can be in Bologna/Pisa etc. in an hour. Furnished tastefully, the owners have taken real care and attention in the decor, the view over Florence is spectacular! Communication prior to arrival was brilliant, even down to dropping us a message to let us know that our apartment was ready. Couldn’t fault it and would wholeheartedly book here again.

This beautiful authentic tenuta torre rossa- for our friends and family is just an Oasis of peace! It has been the third time that we come here and each time we fall more in love! Every time something new and gorgeous adds on. This year our families enjoyed the awesome soccer field in the middle of the olive trees, cooling of at the pool overlooking Florence in distance. Rooms have everything one needs and are always super clean and neat. Also the owners and her staff are so helpful and lovely! Thank you!!

We spent a week at Villa Torre Rossa, an incredibly beautiful place nestled among olive trees with a view of Florence. The apartment was fantastic, spacious, and well-appointed. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the heatwave. The pool area offers a wonderful view, and I highly recommend preparing a meal to enjoy with a glass of wine while watching the sunset. We really appreciated the attention to detail, with picnic baskets, trays, and a wine cooler available in the room. Although olive oil production has moved away from the farm, the owner's father was kind enough to open up and give us a tour of the old production facilities. The reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the difficulties of staying at the olive farm without a car. The bus line that stops right outside is very infrequent and sometimes doesn't run according to schedule. Taxis are incredibly hard to come by, as they seem a bit reluctant to drive outside of Florence. Grocery shopping needs to be planned and done during visits to Florence (or any other place), which isn't possible if you stay in Florence past 10 PM. There is a delicatessen that delivers groceries to the accommodation, but they only accept cash payments. It would have been helpful for guests without a car if there was some kind of minibar or vending machine offering simple dishes/breakfast items for days when plans are canceled or when guests feel like spending more time at the accommodation in the morning. I highly recommend the accommodation but would say that having a car is a must.
