We were a little disappointed with the furnishings in Cabin 15. The sofa and chairs looked a little shabby and could have used a good cleaning. Also the carpet looked like it needed a good shampooing. The young man that handled our check in and worked at the convenience store seemed very nice and helpful. We probably would look at other options if we decide to return for another visit.

The chalet was poor quality with poor fittings and everything vibrating with even a tiny movement. The sofabed was not comfortable. In the description we were made to believe there were 2 rooms. As it said bedroom with double bed and living room with sofabed. But it was all in one room. The noise of the train honks could be disturbing for some although there were earplugs provided. The price we paid did not match what we got. Felt overly priced.

Great stay! Great location! Pick up onsite for tours through 10 Peaks was so convenient! Everything was perfect. Great kitchen and fireplace and so spacious! Can't wait to come back again! Highly recommend!

Amazing cabins and staff! A very quiet area to enjoy your time together. There is a lot to do nearby, a fire pit and bbq area, as well as a games room in a common cabin in the center. Everything is close by, Banff is only 25 minutes away and hiking trails are right in the backyard!

Great location and great staff. They have a nice grocery selection and sell gas from the property. We utilized the onsite laundry facilities. We had a deer come up to our back window and hang out for 30 minutes. Avoid the adjoining 2-bedroom cabins due to noise between cabins. Most of the cabins are stand alone so this wouldn't be an issue for most of their units. Access to Bow Parkway is great...right behind Castle Mountain Chalet....I would recommend utilizing Bow Parkway, in lieu of the main highway, as much as possible as we saw a lot of wildlife on this stretch of road. Silverton Falls Trail is a 5 minute walk from Castle Mountain Chalet. I highly recommend doing this hike as it is has a great waterfall at the end and we only saw one other couple on the entire hike.

Large log cabin for empty-nester couple with stone fireplace and wood replenished daily. Location outstanding for access to all the hikes we wanted to do - cut down 20-30 minute travel time vs. staying in Canmore or Banff. Quiet evenings (except for CP trains nearby - but fell right back to sleep if they woke us up). Very friendly staff. We plan to return.

We stayed in a cabin that faced Castle Mountain. it was beautiful. very quiet and serene area. noticed a few cabins face away from the mountain so would recommend requesting for one that faces the mountain. chalet itself was very cute, looked like just the photos, clean and had everything we needed. the bed is quite comfy. the only negative is we didnt realize how close the area is to the railway and trains probably come 2-3 times each night and was loud. if you use the ear plugs they provide, we found it manageable. lastly, it was a 25min drive to Banff so not too bad. overall would recommend for a nice quaint stay.
