Hotels with Breakfast in Improvement District No. 9

My son and I stayed at the Rim Rock for tour nights (Sept 14-17) after spending two extremely enjoyable nights in Canmore. The reception area is quite nice, and the hotel provides beautiful views of the mountains. We ate in the lounge/ restaurant one night. The food was good, but the wait was excessive and the service could have been much better. The staff at reception were pleasant but didn’t go out of their way to be helpful. Once we left the reception area to go to our room, everything plummeted in quality. The carpet in the hallway ( sixth floor) had a large stain on it and looked old, worn, and dirty. The room appeared worn. The bath tub faucet leaked, the floor lamp didn’t work, the furniture had scuff marks on it, the carpet again seemed old . There were small cans of Pringles for sale for eight dollars a can that had expired. I notice that many of the glowing reviews for this hotel are from people from the UK and other countries with favourable exchange rates. Alas, we are Canadians and paid aver nine hundred dollars a night, plus another twenty-two per night for parking. I would be embarrassed to charge three hundred a night considering the condition of the room we had, To call yourself a luxury hotel without adding anything close to value (aside from your fortunate location ) is disingenuous.

Overall great resort. Have stayed in 2 bedroom and very nice but one bedroom is cramped and in need of new flooring and furniture. Had a mouse in our unit which can happen, sliding door lock didn’t work but was repaired quickly. Dirt and cobwebs in corners of bathroom behind door. Otherwise quite clean.

Amazing place to relax and get back to nature. Very clean and great food . Close to Lake Louise and other beautiful places in the area. The area for sitting around the fire was great and the best nights for stargazing. I would defiantly make it back there.

We had a lovely time at the Juniper Hotel! The manager, Rohit, did an amazing job accommodating our family's needs and went the extra mile to ensure that we had a memorable vacation. We really enjoyed the views of the mountains from our rooms, and spent time reading and relaxing on the patio. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in Banff. It was a short drive down into downtown, while still quite removed from the bustle of the downtown *****. Would highly recommend the Juniper Hotel for your next stay in Banff!

We had a very nice stay at Sunshine lodge. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We were offered a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise! The room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner on site and the food was were very good. I was also happy to see that there were others out looking for the Northern lights when I got up to look myself. Morgan, who was on staff that night, was very helpful. We took advantage of the guided tour via the chairlift in the morning and Harriet did a great job with the tour.we would definitely stay again!

Despite the high price, I really liked this place for a couple of nights. Very comfortable bed, nice fireplace, super-helpful staff. Convenient location if you plan to hike Johnston Canyon, but go super-early or late to avoid the massive throngs of people. Our cottage had a front porch with two adirondack chairs, which were nice for sitting outside and drinking coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. The cottages are not all fully-equipped, but if you ask them in advance, they can provide you with basic things like a microwave or toaster. They also provided us with plates, utensils, and wine glasses when we asked, which was very kind.

Just on the roadside of Icefield Avenue, the room is a small wooden house, the wind is so big, there are three restaurants, we chose the buffet for dinner, it seems that there is more than 30 people, and children under 12 years old seem to be 14@:@, cost-effective, the room is not Big, clean beds, small toilets. The gas station here is expensive. It is recommended not to add so much, it is not so expensive to add to the small town.
