I stayed at the hotel to celebrate my 8th wedding anniversary, on the weekend of September 13th to 15th. They reported that there was a "small climb" to get to the location, but it is far from small. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who needs to go up with luggage. Regarding the celebration, I asked for a room decorated with rose petals and champagne, something simple and more affordable. However, I ended up accepting, without realizing it, the most expensive package, which cost R$500. Luckily, the bathtub was not available due to lack of water, and the price was adjusted to R$370. However, the experience left a lot to be desired. The package included 4 cheese rolls with ham (with a fishy taste), 10 small pieces of salami, 8 skewers of Minas cheese with cherry tomatoes (also with a fishy taste), a "basket of chocolates" containing a box of Ferrero Rocher, 1 chocolate egg, 1 package of extremely hard rustic Elma Chips, 2 Sonho de Waltsa chocolates, 1 tube of Pringles and 1 Halls. The champagne was hot, the grapes (purple and green) were so ripe they were inedible, and the apples were full of wax. Also, the rose petals were artificial, which was a huge disappointment. In the photos, the package looks like a dream, but in practice it was a nightmare. I also didn't like the breakfast served in the room. I found the service invasive and the offer limited. As it is served individually and not in a buffet format, there are few options. The bread was hard and stale, and cheese and ham were common. There was only a taste of juice and a type of cake, which, on both days, was terrible. The coffee, yogurt and chocolate powder were acceptable, but the service, in general, was well below average. And today there was melon hair and green papaya. When I arrived, I noticed that the cleanliness wasn't the best either: the balcony hammock was full of sand and the table was filthy. I asked them to clean the room because of the artificial petals, and, to my surprise, when I returned, the petals were all under the bed. The only positive point was the reception of the staff, who were very attentive. However, I would not recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pousada for 5 days, for our May holidays. Pros: - Attention from the staff and their care, everyone was excellent and super helpful. - Very good and comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom too. The view from our room was excellent. - Every day they serve an afternoon coffee from 5pm to 7pm, with biscuits, biscuits and plenty of tea options too. Cons: - The breakfast was very simple, it's not a buffet like in most places. You can have coffee outside the inn or choose to have it brought to your room. I thought the variety of items could be better, the same thing was repeated almost every day. The coffee comes in a very small thermos, which is annoying, as it counts to give 1 cup per couple. - There is a lot of noise from furniture and/or suitcases being dragged and you can clearly hear the footsteps of people walking around the room. - Pillows were not very comfortable and I thought there was a lack of a heavier quilt to cover us at night. In the bedroom, you have the bed sheet and two single blankets that I found to be very thin, which are at the top of the closet. - I felt that the cleaning of the room floor could be better. - Get ready to walk, as the inn is on Praia do Canto and you still have a climb up the stone floor and a few more steps to get to the top.

I don't recommend it!! It's not worth the daily price, I wouldn't go back. Negative Points: - Wi-fi: Wi-fi worked poorly in the room where we were (videos, for example, wouldn't load), despite it being almost opposite the reception; the phone signal to get 4G wasn't good either, which made it difficult. - Noise: A lot of noise from the room above, we woke up in the morning with people walking around because of the noise on their floor/our ceiling, which was very easy to pass through. - Breakfast: Leaves something to be desired. As it is served by room and not buffet, we don't have many options as is usually the case in hotels/inns. Bread, cheese, ham, a juice flavor, a cake flavor, coffee, yogurt, chocolate powder, scrambled egg. Good, but below average. - Recurrent Power Lack: We spent 4 nights at the inn. On the first day we arrived, the power went out at 5pm and it would only come back on the next day. With the inn's generator we couldn't turn on the air and it was an incredibly hot day (sunny day, the height of summer in Rio). The room only had a small floor fan, which didn't do that well and no extras to borrow. At 2am the generator stopped working and as there was no one at reception at that time, I called the only emergency phone number in the room. After 3 attempts I was answered by a man who started cursing me a lot. We were left without power in the unbearable heat until 4am and something when the generator came back on. I contacted the inn's WhatsApp the next day complaining and didn't get any concrete response. They told me that there would be no more power outages (my boyfriend and I were already considering going back early for fear of spending another horrible hot night), but it went out again late Saturday afternoon, but luckily it was cooler and I managed to get one. extra fan at reception. When we left at 10am the next day, there was still no power. Location: Be prepared, as the inn is the last one on a hill. Positive points: Friendly staff. Every day at 5pm the inn serves unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits until 7pm. The room is like in the photos, cute guesthouse.

I booked a luxury room with a sea view and found it dirty and old. The breakfast was simple, the thermos was very dirty, and the labels on the coffee utensils were not as well-designed as they should be for a honeymoon stay. The upholstery in the outdoor area was dirty. I don't think it's worth the price.

SCAMMERS They are are refusing to issue me a refund for my booking. My booking was made via *********** and had free cancellation. When I asked where my refund was it took them three weeks to tell me it hadn't been done because of carnival. Another three weeks later and now they say they can only issue a credit. Avoid avoid avoid.
