Very bad experience, first they not give us room together, there is very bad room, no clean, no lift to go third floor, very bad smell, carpet is very dirty, bed not comfortable, room is very cold, you can not hanging your clothes, Cabot is broken,

Rubbish beds springs will hurt

Rooms are small and not 10% clean and very dusty. Furniture and curtain smell and room are not big enough for a double room. And what I’ve paid for.

WARNING: SCAM! The hotel in question is not the one advertised. Upon arrival, we were diverted to another facility (the Lucky 8 Hotel), forcing us to move again by car (for those arriving by public transport, this would be a major inconvenience). Once there, they didn't allow us to park and we had to move the car to yet another facility. The room was tiny, making it difficult for two people to move around, and it didn't match the one booked at all. Services were practically non-existent. The staff, besides being unprepared, was not "international" at all. But the real deception lies in the cost. After having already paid for the booking, we were asked for a £100 deposit which, as of today (03/06/2025), has still not been refunded, despite check-out being on 04/05/2025. I believe this is a deliberate strategy: to attract customers with low prices and then defraud them by requesting a non-refundable deposit. STAY AWAY!

HUGELY ENJOYABLE STAY AT THE CRANBROOK. ONE OF THE STRONGEST BEST PERFORMING ILFORD ECONOMICAL VALUE HOTELS. THE PROBLEM IS ALL THE CENTRAL LONDON BUDGET HOTELS GET FULLY BOOKED HIGH SEASON & WHAT IS LEFTOVER IS VERY VERY EXPENSIVE & IF YOU DONT FANCY £200-£400 PER NIGHT HILTON ROOM RATES, ILFORD IS ACCESSIBLE & AFFORDABLE. SUPER CLOSE TO ILFORD RAIL STATION & EXCELLENT 123 BUS RIDES 30 MINUTES LONG WILL TAKE YOU INTO GANTS HILL OR TOTTENHAM HALE/SEVEN SISTERS FOR UNDERGROUND CONNECTIONS FAST ZONE 1 LONDON. A-ROOMS IN THE ANNEX JUST ADJACENT ARE NEWLY REFURBISHED. ROOM A9 A FAMILY ROOM WAS LARGE WITH A SUPER ENSUITE. EVERYTHING WORKED. THE WIFI WAS CONTINUOUS SPEEDY. ALL STAFF WERE WARM & COURTEOUS. IF YOU ARE OPEN & DOWN TO EARTH WITH HOUSEKEEPING & IRISH LADY AT RECEPTION THEN YOU'LL GET THE SAME FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL SERVICE BACK. IF YOU ARE UNREASONABLE THEN WHAT DO YOU EXPECT. I'M SURE THEY HAVE SEEN IT ALL IN THE LAST TEN YEARS. ROOM SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. FRESH CLEAN LINENS & TOWELS AS REQUIRED & PLENTY OF HOT DRINKS & TOILETRIES. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND THE CRANBROOK & HAVE HAD A MULTIPLE NIGHTS STAY. THERE ARE ALSO BASIC ROOMS IN THE MAIN BUILDING WHERE YOU MAY ONLY HAVE TO SHARE FACILITIES WITH ONE OTHER ROOM WHICH MAY SUIT CONTRACTORS WORKING IN THE AREA WHO COULD BLOCK BOOK LONG STAYS AT AN AFFORDABLE ALMOST HOME RENTAL PRICE. NO PROBLEMS.
