When we saw the photos of Nipponia Hotel Iga Ueno, It was love at the first sight. We booked the hotel via VMG official website and got a great promotion rate of accommodation with 2 meals. It turned out to be one of the best hotels we had stayed in Japan. The hotel was just 5 minutes walk from Iga Ueno Station. The staff was warm, helpful, and professional with good English. The hotel itself was installed in an old wooden house with a small but nice private garden. We stayed in Room 102, It was a two-story room. The room was amazingly well-maintained, super clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the quietness on the engawa and the view of tsubo niwa in the night with lights. Our room was next to the hotel restaurant. The dinner and breakfast were all well prepared with local ingredients. The food was tasty and the garnishes were creative. This is really a top-notch hotel. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back!
