The hotel location is tucked into the woods with pine trees. All the staff members are super helpful and nice. They are also knowledgeable about private shuttles (Mr. Les). The bed is so comfortable that I slept like a log. The restaurant serves excellent mouth-watering cheeseburgers. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Idyllwild.

What a special place this is, hidden away in the mountain and surrounded by nature. Super cosy rooms would definitely recommend to couples and families. The drive to it was lovely aswell.

The property was beautiful. The cabin was beautiful. Amenities were great. The restaurant was fantastic. Dissatisfaction stemmed from shower not working. It wouldn't even turn on. We reported the issue at check out as the front desk was closed all night, and asked for some type of credit since we couldn't use the shower. We were assured they would report it to management and they would be in touch. We never heard back from anyone. For what we paid, we certainly expected a working shower! After having spent a hot day in the desert the day before we were looking forward to a morning shower before catching a flight in Palm Springs.

I'm connected to another apartment. The blinds in my child's room don't block the light well. The balcony light of the neighboring house is very bright and the light shines in, making it impossible for my child to fall asleep.

We rented the family cabin: -My biggest complaint is that the beds were uncomfortable, very uncomfortable in both bunk beds (my kids complained the whole night), and our Queen bed. - There were not enough blankets, just two thin blankets in the room and it was very cold in the night, even with the heater. - The floor was uneven. - Not enough living space. Maybe worth the money to get a bigger cabin. - We ate at the restaurant and it was really good food. - The general atmosphere of the grounds is really nice.

We stayed in room 32. My advice is to upgrade to a larger room or a cabin. The room we stayed in was ok but rather sparse in decoration. The microwave simply sat on top of the mini fridge rather than being in a cabinet. The TV was large but had no captioning abilities. The bed was very comfy. It would not take much to make the rooms more comfy. For starters, they need a minimum of two chairs for guests to sit on or a loveseat, more photos on the walls, provision of Kleenex in the room, etc. As for the grounds, they deserve an “orchid” for the beautiful landscape architecture on site! The multiple trees and plants in every hue of fall colors was beautiful!!!! We walked the tranquility trail. Nicely done. The on site restaurant is lovely and on a warm day it would be nice to sit on the outdoor patio facing the pine forest. It is open for lunch and dinner. Breakfast would have been great! Check in was easy & checkout even easier!
