Beautiful beach, delicious restaurant and incredibly friendly staff. We took a day trip to Hydra from Athens and found our way to Mandraki Beach Resort. Kiki, one of the managers and Arthur the owner could not have been more friendly or accommodating. They set us up on their beautiful beach and tended to everything we needed. Would love to return for a longer stay.

Came for the day, staff lazy uninterested. The beach is lovely but so much plastic floating around. Surely one of the 10 staff stood around doing nothing could have sorted this out. Table dirty when we had lunch had to ask for it to be cleaned. The boat transfer is haphazard!!! Not on time. The toilets are not good dirty bins and loo roll thrown on surfaces. After paying 93 euros for a day on the beach and that’s just the bed and a drink it’s not worth it. Lots of lovely places on Hydra this is not one of them

We stayed there for a week and it was the best holidays we've had! The hospitality we've experienced has been amazing! Each and every member of staff we have met or spoken to, have been friendly and lovely! The view from our room was amazing and such a perfect way to wake up in the morning! Truly, a pleasure to stay at Mandraki! Huge thank you for your attention to detail and your care! We will be coming back in the future! It's the perfect hotel!!!

This place is amazing, perfect for days relaxing on the beach. The service is impeccable from the moment you step off the port they are available to meet you. All of the food was fantastic as well, the breakfast was delicious and the lunch was amazing, they serve traditional Greek as well as beautiful sushi platters. It’s either a short boat ride or 20 min walk from port so easy to get in and out. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday on the beach.

Stunning beach and great hospitality!!! Very quiet and reasonably priced. They have a private boat that takes you from the main part of the island and it’s cheaper then most of the water taxis! Wonderful staff and beautiful waters who could ask for more!

We stayed 2 nights in Hydra prior to a cruise it was a great experience the staff was amazing. Beach was perfect . Would highly recommend staying here rather than in Athens if you are looking to relax. Nice walk to town or take the hotel shuttle boat .

Mandraki is by far too expensive and definitely not a 5 star resort as a mater of fact its not a resort at all ...its a few room and one restaurant food quality below average... the beach is nice but you can always visit and enjoy with out stay at this "resort" i would suggest avoiding taking the boat to mandraki as you can walk a very nice path from the city to mandraki beach the path is excellent and you can enjoy the beautiful view. Regarding the mandraki "resort " in my opinion its proper rip off. ....much better hotels in the city cente.

Mandraki Beach Resort is a hidden gem just around the corner from the town. Immersed in simplicity this resort boasts of a quiet cove where the gentle lapping of the waves is music to our ears. They are manned by plesant and wonderful staff and they do take care of you very well. A perfect balance of aesthetics and comfort.

If you are looking for real peace and quiet, a place to be pampered and leave stress behind, then this place is for you. The hotel staff is willing to take good care of you. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is excellent and the beach is a place where you would love to spend the whole day. The port of Hydra is about twenty minutes away on foot, but you may also get there by means of a boat (the hotel's own boat or a sea taxi).
