This motel's nightly rate is very over-priced. The bed was very uncomfortable, with the pillows being one inch thick and minimal quality bedding. The office staff at check-in were helpful and polite. I will not be choosing this motel on my next visit to Idaho Springs.

This is a retro 70’s style. Does have clean sheets (I hope). Families with kids live full time on one side of motel and kid toys strewn about, riding scooters and screaming. The room is not clean adequately. I found hair on couch, bottle caps beside night stand. Dusty window sills with bugs, see through curtains, water damage in bathroom, no drain in sink and also ants crawling around. Unfortunately, I’d only stay in dire need.

Room 35 was dirty, not sanitary, falling apart and quite frankly disgusting. The floors were lifting, the walls had substances smeared on them, the toilet was loose and giving a sewer odor. Most of the caulking in the bathtub was missing and what was there was black and possibly covered in mold. The sink was cracked as well as the tile. The sink was missing a drain. There were dead bugs on the window ledges. The windows were dirty beyond belief and the curtains fell off repeatedly. Part of the building on the opposite side of rooom 35 was actually condemned! The ceiling was caving in toward the middle of the room. The closet consisted of two plastic drawer containers the made it impossible to hang any clothing. The tv was blocking the mirror. The bathroom paint was incomplete and peeling. The list goes on and on. It was the most horrendous room I have seen to date and I travel for a living.

After significant flight delays, I learned that I 70 was either closed, or was virtually impassible due to weather. I made the safe decision to spend the night in Idaho Springs and drive up to the mountain in the morning. I made this reservation five minutes before I checked in. The check-in Clerk was pleasant. This motel served its purpose. It was a warm, dry place to spend the night, and a good stopping point to still get to the mountain early enough in the morning. It was clean enough, and the bed was comfortable. That said, the property is extremely dated. This is definitely to be considered a value hotel/motel.

THIS PLACE HAD NO GUEST INTERNET ACCESS. I told the night manager, who is also the owner, that there was no wifi signal in my room. All he did was pretend to look surprised and did nothing to remedy the situation. The wifi signal was OK in the office/lobby, so I tried to connect in there, but HE WOULDN'T LET ME SIT IN THERE because he said I was using up HIS wifi. The window blinds in my room did not fully close and the curtains were too skimpy to cover the window. The door to the bathroom did not close. All in all, this was the worst motel I have ever seen. DO NOT STAY HERE!
