This was my first visit to Icmeler as we usually go to Marmaris. Went with a friend for a last minute relaxing trip and the Faros Beach did not dissapoint. Staff were so attentive and friendly without being pushy, this was from check in to the final day. Room was a little dated from what we are used too, however that was not an issue as I would much prefer good customer service and that is exactly what we got. We were lucky enough to already book a sea view so were extremly happy when we were located on floor 5 with a great size balcony and an amazing view as we love to sit outside. We booked the spa offer and it was amazing and so relaxing. The food was good so much choice everyday. Bar service was super and staff were brilliant, funny and always on the ball to keep your glass full. Location was great, easy and pleasant walk to shops and bars. I loved it so much I have booked to go back with my husband at the end of May 25 Look forward to returning next year. Icmeler you have won a place in my heart ❤️❤️

My Husband and I spent 21 nights in October at this lovely hotel, our wonderful Daughter in law joined us for our middle week, thank you Nina for arranging the room for her next door to us. It was our first time here but it will not be the last, our room was quite big and very clean kept so for our entire holiday, by our lovely room attendant, sheets changed often on a comfy bed, towels changed as needed. The food here is very good better than most A/I hotels we have stayed in in this area, as for staff I cannot praise them enough from waiting staff in the restaurant, to the bar staff all hard working and friendly. Lovely comfy lounges to relax in as well as the reception area. One thing that needs addressing is the cushions on the beach beds they are in a dreadful state , hopefully these will be replaced with the same quality ones that are at the pool. Also the hammock and swings seats need to be on hard standing, grass is not a good idea to have these on [constructive criticism ] as when the gardener waters this area its like mud bath. Must mention how nice it was to have evening entertainment [ that was very good ] with no sign of bingo or quiz. We will definitely be back hopefully in April Best wishes Pat and Bob Armstrong

On the second day of our holiday, I broke my toe at the beach on a sunlounger, as there was no staff or lifeguard around if my friend hadn’t been with me and able to call for help I would have had real further problems. the beach is NOT private and NOT adults only… We were constantly harassed by illegal vendors at the beach throughout our stay, who were part of an illegal scam where they would try to steal money from you as soon as you took your purse out, despite making multiple staff aware of this on multiple occasions absolutely NOTHING was done to increase security or keep these awful people off the beach. We were continually harassed and verbally abused by this illegal vendor and the hotel staff did not care at all, due to a severe lack of communication ability by reception staff, our complaints and fears when unnoticed and ignored. Unbeknownst to us when booking this was the end of their season and staff could not wait to see the other side of us. 2 days before the closing of the hotel they were removing all the sun loungers and making us feel very unwelcome. On our last day staff hosted a very loud party, ignorant to guest feelings and made us feel VERY unwelcome. They provided a very limited service as this was the end of their season however, we were just trying to enjoy our holiday. I seriously would not recommend booking this place, the rooms are dirty, furniture covered in unknown stains and blood. The food was terrible, most of it totally inedible. The location is nice but that is the ONLY redeeming quality of the hotel. I have been seriously unimpressed and will be contacting Jet2holidays due to their lack of all inclusivity on our last day, they couldn’t wait to see the other side of us And refused to provide us with any kind of food after lunch time and we had a night time flight so we’re left starving whilst the staff all had their party meals, unacceptable!!! I have never felt like more of a burden to staff at a hotel, one woman in particular behind the beach bar was BEYOND RUDE to myself and my friend. I believe her name was Maeve. She gave us horrible looks all holiday and at one point told my friend to shut up. Exceptionally appalling and WILL NOT be back. DO NOT BOOK.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. The food and service was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help and support us. So friendly and helpful, made us feel like one of the family. Only downfall was the cleaners. Not very good, didn’t do hardly anything even hard to purchase own toilet roll on one occasion. But apart from that would return there again tomorrow it was so nice and enjoyed it so much. Thank you.

Let’s start with the good! The hotel location is gorgeous. The sea view and beach is definitely the highlight of this hotel. The beach and views exceeded expectations and the staff were friendly and helpful. My friend had an injury on the beach and Agit was so helpful, he came over and escorted us to the nurse on site who was very helpful and phoned the hospital for us. We were dropped off at the hospital by hotel staff which was a huge bonus. Onto the not so good things… The Wifi isn’t good. Couldn’t get wifi In the room and patchy everywhere else. Only place it worked was the lobby so I would recommend pre downloading movies for the room however this shouldn’t be the case. This is especially annoying as there is no roaming in Turkey with most network providers. Beach security is non-existent. Private beach was not private, there were illegal vendors selling fruit which turned out to be a part of an elaborate money grabbing scheme. Hotel was made aware of pestering and abusive behaviour by illegal vendors but didn’t do anything about it to increase security which made us feel very unsafe on the beach. Two days before hotel was due to close for the season beach beds and umbrellas were removed whilst customers remained on the beach trying to enjoy the last few days of their holiday. We left the hotel on its closing day and staff were playing load music before we checked out which made us feel like we were not welcome and they were excited for our departure prematurely. We understand it’s the end of their season, however we still had paid for a days holiday that was disrupted by their eagerness to close for the season. Overall I had a really good holiday and I would definitely come back to Iclemer, the area was gorgeous and didn’t disappoint. If we had been made aware that this was the last week of the season we would’ve come another time to avoid the above scenarios.

This was my first visit to Turkey ( if you don’t count the day trip from Rhodes in May that prompted this holiday). Unusually for me, I didn’t read the reviews of this hotel before I booked. I’m so glad I didn’t. Yes, the balcony is small….but the views are just wonderful! The bedside phone didn’t work…oh, but the one in the bathroom did! The rooms looked like they were ready for redecorating… but they were immaculately clean! The air conditioning was quite loud ….but worked so well we needed blankets in 22degree night temperatures! The food was international cuisine, so there is always something for everyone and is excellent….but I would have loved to eat authentic Turkish food. However, the location made this easy to do with lots of local restaurants within easy (flat) walking distance. A real ‘must do’ ….in the basement of this hotel is the most wonderful Turkish spa experience from Hammam to Wellbeing massages for couples by knowledgeable, well trained professionals…we had 3 in a week! What a treat. Now onto the most important part of our visit…. The staff ….were absolutely AMAZING, from hospitality to housekeeping, the ladies that cooked the breakfast omelettes and Nina. These friendly, hardworking people are a real credit to this hotel - (ok, here goes the punctuation) …. the exception being one scary receptionist who would rather carry on with her work than deal with me when I’m right in front of her! Nina, the guest services manager gets my thumbs up and hugs ‘big style’, not only for her work in the hotel, she looks after the cats. I have never seen such well fed, well loved and neutered feral cats in any hotel in my many years of holidaying. I’m so impressed (I volunteered with Cats Protection in the past so I’m a big believer in neutering). Finally, my only 2 gripes …. WiFi connection above ground floor was extremely iffy (apparently I should have checked with Nina) We will definitely return …. When we can cope with my second gripe……the really, really long drive to the most expensive and challenging airport that is Dalaman (buy a lounge pass) Thank you for a lovely holiday xx

Excellent located beach front hotel with own private beach. Rooms adequate with daily room service from very friendly housekeeping. Any issues dealt with swiftly and without fuss. Food plentiful with choices for all taste and dietary requirements although a little repetitive. Restaurant staff attentive but special thanks goes out to OZENC for his outstanding guest care. His understated approach and attention to detail is a mark of true professionalism and a credit to the hotel. Overall the staff go out their way to make your stay most enjoyable. Thanks again to all the team

Where do I start. A much needed holiday and it certainly delivered. Antonio was extremely helpful and friendly. He would make a point of checking in with us throughout our stay, which was a lovely thing to do. We made use of the spa on our arrival and booked again for a further 3 massages. The ladies work very hard and it was worth it. We felt safe and comfortable in and around the hotel. The bar staff Lokman, Kevin & Davut always smiled and knew what our drink orders were. Food was plentiful and the service was outstanding. Ozenç was super attentive and welcomed us every meal time. He certainly made my holiday. Will deffo return.

Well what can I say about this place! My daughter and I have just returned from a short 'girlie' break at Faros Beach. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is clean and bright and welcoming. We were bewildered having read several reviews before our trip which described the hotel as tired and in need of an upgrade. We didn't find this at all! Our room was spacious and clean and the view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel sits right on the seafront, literally just a few steps from the beach bar to the beach which has ample sunbeds and parasols. Facilities at the hotel are wonderful. There's everything you could need really. Lounges, bars, a gym, a hairdressers, little shop, tattoo parlour and even an on site doctors surgery! Downstairs there is an absolutely amazing spa. The legendary Antonio that we had read so much about came and found us on our second day and worked his charm to get us to book the Sultan package of the Turkish bath. Wow...what can I say. 2 and a half hours of absolute luxuriant bliss. Do it! You won't regret it! The all inclusive food is plentiful and varied, new dishes every day and also some standard pizza and chips type stuff for those fussy Brits! But we loved all the different dishes on offer. Drinks were lovely too and in the evening in the beach bar the staff are coming round as soon as your glass is empty to give you a refill. Fantastic service. Entertainment in the evenings was very good especially the Kenyan acro team and the Broadway night. Pool area is good too although a little chilly but still good to cool off in. Only negative here is that there were lots and lots of little midgy flies in this area. But plenty of loungers and a bar right there too complete with dartboard! Icmeler is a lovely little town with everything you would want for a chilled holiday. Abundance of eateries and drinkeries and little shops, and a stroll along the promenade is absolutely lovely. We loved everything about the holiday at Faros beach but the one stand out thing was the staff. I have never been somewhere where all the staff were so cheerful, friendly and attentive. They all look like they are having fun and will take the time to have a laugh and a chat to you. Special mention to Yusuf in the dining hall who always made us smile and of course Antonio who works all the hours god sends and who I swear could charm the birds out of the trees!! We will be back Faros beach! Keep doing what you are doing. We miss it already
