Fortuna Beach Hotel

Just spent 2weeks at the Fortuna beach Hotel in Icmeler Turkey absolutely beautiful place sunshine every day and the staff were amazing Ash Ali Memet bar staff dining kitchen and cleaners couldn’t do enough to make sure your every need was met the service was amazing we honestly can’t recommend this place enough clean safe good food and so friendly we are definitely going back

Just got back from another excellant weeks holiday. This hotel nd staff are fabulous. This was our 4th time here and it did not disappoint, the hotel is so clean, the staff cannot do enough for you nd the food is so tasty nd fresh every day. You just feel so much at home, will be back next year.

A lovely welcoming hotel. Not too big so not overflowing with guests and no queuing. Room has everything you need. All areas clean and tidy. We requested a quiet room on the lower floor through Tui and was accommodated. I have a food allergy and the waiting staff advised what was ok to eat - there was still lots of choice and I didn't go hungry. Food fresh, tasty and cooked in front of you in the outdoor areas. Bar staff were also great and we didn't have to wait to order a drink. Staff were happy in their work and it showed. Treated like a person not a number. Always willing to help. Most spoke English although I always find it nice to learn the basic language like please and thank you. The beach is only a minutes walk. It is a little stoney so you need footwear but the ground was ok in the sea. There were sunbeds for the hotel's guests but not a great many. You were welcome to use any other hotels beds as long as you purchased a drink or food. (we had to move beds twice as we were not told which ones were the hotels ones - maybe needs including in the welcome pack?) The promenade by the hotel was a nice stroll with bars and shops although we did get approached alot - we were polite and said "no thank you" and they left us alone. If you walk about 5-10 mins you will hit the town area which is a total contrast with a vibrant night life. Shops were open late at night aswell. The only negative I would say is the sunbeds by the hotel pool. The pool was large enough but not enough room for sunbeds. People would selfishly put their towels on at 7am then go out! There is a sign by the pool with the rules to say if there was a problem with guests reserving sunbeds then to speak to the management which I did. I was told "what do you want me to do about it?" I replied with "why put a sign up then not police it?" Eventually about 30 mins later they fetched another sunbed from somewhere but I shouldn't have had to say anything. There were about 20 beds with towels on and only about 4 people in the pool! I know there is no space for extra sunbeds but if it was monitored then it would be fair to everyone. However, this negative would not deter me from going back in the future as the hotel and staff in general were brilliant.
