Schloss Mörlbach

Schloss Mörlbach was incredible! We booked out nearly the entire second floor and one large basement room for a total of 29 people during one of the Oktoberfest weekends. The rooms were all clean, well decorated, were as described in terms of beds, and had nice views to the outdoors. The castle is on a large plot of land that is quiet, welcoming, and beautiful. It was quite easy to get to from Munich - both by car (plenty of parking spaces) and by train (S7 from Munich HBF to Icking). There is a large grocery minutes away that has everything you would need. The castle also has a large pantry that stocks snacks, drinks, and beer that you can pay for individually, which was a really nice touch. All the bathrooms were very clean. We had rooms with private bathrooms, but also had the four shared baths to ourselves on the second floor. Communication was very thorough and done by email. We would highly recommend and hope to stay there again someday!

I had a fantastic stay at Schloss Mörlbach! The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful greenery and offering a peaceful retreat. The on-site restaurant served delicious local dishes, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed.
