Fukiagehama Field Hotel

It's a resort facility. It's located in a part of Kagoshima prefecture that's practically the middle of nowhere. So it's a bit out of place, with no tourist attractions to speak of. The facilities themselves are clean.

The location was amazing and no matter where you took a photo it was beautiful. We enjoyed various cocktails and shochu for dinner. Also, at dinner time, the seats were reserved, but when I told them I wanted to eat on the terrace they gladly moved me. The customer service of the staff was also very good, which was a deciding factor for me wanting to return. There were towels placed in various places outdoors, and the foot bath and pool were easily accessible without having to go to the room to get a towel, which was nice. I would like to go again with my family.

This is a popular facility with a glamping area and a hotel building. The glamping area is completely independent, with 13 trailer rooms and 6 tent rooms. At "TENKU FIELD" on the roof of the hotel, there was a hot spring pool and sauna, but since I didn't think I would look good in a pink sauna suit (swimsuit), I used the day-use hot spring facility directly connected to the hotel. It's a shame to waste this new outdoor experience. The front area was a stylish space, and welcome drinks such as wine were also prepared. The room was a terrace twin room, modern and clean, but honestly it was small. The terrace on the sea side was a space where you could enjoy the best sunset privately, but since it was a room on the second floor, the view was a trailer house view (the river and the sea in the distance). If you are using this type of room, it may be better to request a room on the third floor if possible. The room had a coffee machine, tea, and two bottles of mineral water, and since the room was small, the air conditioner worked great. You can also watch YouTube on the TV. There are no room keys, and you enter the room or hotel building by pressing a pin number. Since it was all-inclusive, we paid at the beginning and checked out by barcode. We had a Japanese-Western course dinner at the restaurant, and it was Western food. It was quite delicious and went well with the wine (Australian wine). The free drinks were limited to 90 minutes, but the fish dishes came 20 minutes after we started eating, and the fact that they kept coming was a bit disappointing. There were only a few groups of customers, so I wish the food had been served at a more balanced pace. But we were satisfied with the food. Breakfast was a buffet. My partner thought the selection was small, but it was just right for me. There were various activities (for a fee) available, but we didn't use them much. It was good to be able to stay in a modern, stylish facility with a new concept. It was stimulating. The staff were all kind.
