初めての宿泊でしたが、昭和の雰囲気漂う良い意味でのクラシカルで豪華なホテルだと思いました。建物の建材も非常に贅沢で、お部屋や廊下の作り、調度品装飾品なども素晴らしかったです。来年リニューアルの為に一時閉業されるとの事で、ところどころ傷みがあり、清潔度設備アメニティは4としました。しかし砂蒸し風呂の従業員さんをはじめ従業員皆さんの接客態度は非常に素晴らしく、解体しリニューアルされるまで数年？かかるとの事でしたが、またリニューアル時には開聞岳登山の時に是非利用したいと思います。

設備は古く階段等の段差も多く、年季の入ったホテルだと感じました。廊下としてしか機能していない建物や広すぎる廊下、エレベーター待ちの為だけのソファなど最新のホテルからすると無駄や非効率として切り捨てられるものが溢れていました。経営側としては無駄で非効率かも知れないが、利用者としてはそれが余白と感じられ非日常感やゆったりとした余裕を感じるポイントでもありました。朝食バイキングも品数の多さや丁寧な配置、朝日が昇る海をパノラマで見られるなど感動ポイントが多かったです。
お風呂も海に向かって開けた露天風呂で開放感が最高でした。波の音を聞きながら朝、晩と楽しむ事ができました。
指宿に親戚がいるので会いに来るたびに泊まりたいと思いましたが来年の6月で営業を終了されるとの事でとても残念です。
個別のポイントをつけるとしたら高得点ではないのですが、トータルとして最高でした。ありがとうございました。

非常推薦這家溫泉飯店！雖然裝修可能有點老舊，但空間非常大又很寬敞，房間超級大，住起來很爽，陽台看出去的景色非常美麗，還提供兩種不同款式的浴衣跟夏威夷套裝，可以穿著在飯店裡面自由走動，很輕鬆。早餐很好吃，餐廳空間很大，不用怕沒位子。每位服務人員很親切友善，服務態度給讚👍。最重要的是泡湯空間品質一百分！可以體驗砂蒸し(砂浴），這可是世界有名的啊！超級推薦必須要體驗一次，很有趣、體感也令人舒暢，還可以在海邊觀景泡湯。溫泉大浴場真的超超超大，空間極度挑高，旅客不多，泡起來真是太舒服了！提供的沐浴備品算是高級的，浴巾、毛巾給的也不吝嗇，不用從房間攜帶，可以在浴場自由取用，不限制數量。我覺得非常奇怪，為什麼旅客這麼少？感覺生意不是很好，也許是看起來髒髒舊舊的？！但我超級推薦，是會再訪入住的飯店。CP值太高了！推薦旅客必須來入住看看！！唯一小缺點：空調怪怪的，冷氣不涼，有點熱🥵

The hotel is relatively old, the corridors have a musty smell, and the room furnishings are old, but the space is sufficient. We had roasted meat for dinner. The portions of the set menu were sufficient. There were many kinds of breakfast. The food quality was very good.
The pool is very good.

It was nice to be able to enjoy the sand bath inside the hotel. We arrived late and made it just in time to enjoy it.
We asked for a non-smoking room at the front desk, but they said it was okay because it was a non-smoking room, but when we entered the room, the smell of cigarettes permeated it.
It wouldn't be a problem if the room was old but clean, but it was very unpleasant for my husband and I, who don't smoke.
