A bit old but clean room. Staff is not good in English. The sand onsen is attached in hotel which is convenient. Yet, the sand is not hot enough.

売店も遅くまで開いていたし、朝は早くから朝食の準備もしていただいて、過ごしやすかったです。
建物は年季が入っていますが、その分スタッフのみなさんがとても温かくて、ありがたかったです。

The hotel has a free shuttle service to Ibusuki Station in the morning, leaving at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. You need to make a reservation one day in advance. Dinner was Satsuma cuisine, which was exquisite, with fresh ingredients and delicious taste. Breakfast is buffet style.
The Iwasaki Hotel next door actually had small fireworks on 8.12 nights, and I was lucky enough to catch them.

A traditional Japanese-style house. The indoor facilities are very old and have traces of history. The room is clean and tidy. The sand bath and hot spring are very good and comfortable. We booked a stay and two meals. The dinner was good, including beer, red wine, white wine and shochu. There is all you can drink, but the breakfast is relatively simple and not very tasty.
