Hotels near Espai Cultural Can Ventosa, Ibiza

We had 2 nights here on way to Formentera. We had a seaview room with a balcony which was amazing. Almost on the beach, fantastic views. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the food. Staff were friendly and rooms were spotless. Perfectly situated for restaurants and bars and some very good bakery/ cafes where we got breakfast just a couple of roads away. A 15 min walk away from centre and the castle, so perfect! Given hotel a 4* rather than a 5* as it is a little tired and worn in places but would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from the El Hotel Pacha, we travelled as 2 couples in our late 30s/ early 40s. we had an amazing stay, the whole experience was great was well worth using the guest vip at Pacha we went both nights we also used the Destino beach club which was amazing, Marcel was very attentive and provided excellent customer service nothing was to much trouble, we even had a nice touch of a bottle of cava for my husbands 40th, we will certainly back. rooms nice and clean, breakfast was tasty! perfect location just over 1km walk to Ibiza town.

This was my fifth stay in eight years at the usually brilliant Simbad. The staff are all lovely, particularly restaurant staff and cleaners. The breakfast buffet is extensive, the rooms are comfortable, the hotel is modern and clean and the view is incredible. We have kept coming back - including a visit with 15 friends last year for a special birthday - because everything has always been great. Until now. It’s no exaggeration to say our holiday was ruined this year and we will think twice about returning again. The only issue is the bizarre pool policy that seems to allow countless non-residents to use the facility whenever they wish, despite a sign saying the pool area is exclusively for the use of guests only. What should be an oasis of calm and restfulness looking out over the beautiful Talamanca bay is now ruined by scores of people who aren’t staying at the hotel using the pool. In a response to another review complaining about this, the hotel director replied seeming to imply there’s nothing they can do about it as the pool is on public land. Maybe something there is lost in translation - I don’t see why someone couldn’t operate an entrance gate to control numbers and noise. The problem was bad during the day while we were there, but particularly awful during the afternoon/evening from about 4-8pm. The pool used to close at 6pm, which seemed odd but maybe this helped, as it’s now open well past 8pm. I appreciate this complaint may sound petty or entitled, but I simply think that the pool should be for the use of residents only, in line with any other hotel I’ve stayed in all over the world. Unfortunately the current situation sees people turning up in droves, failing to use the showers and jumping straight in the pool. I twice saw babies with their nappies being taken off on sun loungers then put into swimming attire without swim nappies, then going straight into the pool. The noise level from children screaming, shouting and repeatedly jumping into the pool is totally unacceptable and not only punctuates the calm around the pool area but also across the front of the whole hotel, including the lovely bar and balconies. The pool area capacity is stated as 40 - yesterday evening I counted 32 non residents, the day before there was 22 children in the pool. You can see from the website it’s a very small pool area. At one point this meant there wasn’t enough loungers for residents and being around the pool was akin to being at a kids club throughout the evening. This isn’t the usual and understandable sound of a few children playing in a swimming pool on holiday, it’s like a whole classroom of children all set loose at the same time There was even a visible divide with residents at one end of the area, as far away from the noise as possible, and everyone else at the other end. If anyone wonders how you can tell this is non-residents - they arrive without hotel pool towels and pack up and leave without going to the hotel. I can’t beli

Very good (smiling staff, good quality of food) except the Portofino restaurant. During our 3rd visit to this à la carte restaurant, we ordered additional lobsters. Reservation at 9:15. The lobsters arrived at the table 1 hour later at 10:15 (service much too long). At the end of the lobsters the waiter asked to pay the bill, saying that the deserts would follow. 5 minutes later I ask the head waiter for desserts and she replies sorry: “the kitchen closed at 10 a.m.”. I point out to him that if the kitchen closed at 10 a.m. why the lobsters arrived at 10:15 a.m. and especially why no one informed us of this closure. So we paid for a DESERST FREE meal.

Excellent customer service, great location and good apartment. Any questions or query were dealt with in a friendly manner. We felt very welcome, we had issues with flights and they kindly let us stay an extra night at a discounted rate. We was allowed an hour later check out time. The apartment was in the heart of the town and not far from anything. They had a cafe that opens from 8.30-4pm where you can buy breakfast. I did not use the pool but my friends did and they enjoyed it and if you ask at reception they provide pool towels. We had a 2 bed apartment but it was opposite the lift so it got noisy at times and had to wear earplugs. There is no bathroom fan so condensation would form in the ceiling and drip water and made the bathroom floor wet in the accessible shower, this would be the only hazard that needs improving. There was a balcony where you can just about see the marine front but it was nice to have one. The rooms was made every day and bins emptied. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back here again.

Good location in Santa Eulalia, for me the best area of ​​Ibiza if you are looking to go with your partner or family. The breakfast was excellent! Although if I had to give a suggestion, it would be that they put fresh orange juice. The check in was great, they had availability and they gave us the room before the hour. For check out, they had rooms available and made us pay €10 an hour from 12 until we left. We have a baby and we needed the room until after lunch to take him changed to the airport. I understand that if there is no availability, they don't do it... or that if you want to leave at 6 pm, they charge you something, but for a short time it seems ridiculous to me. I have an accommodation, and as long as there is availability it is not difficult for me to let my guests leave later.

This hotel is in the perfect location, if you’re looking for a beach experience, it has its own private entrance to the beach, the rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday thoroughly. Definitely encourage one to add the breakfast and dinner option to their bookings, as they have a large variety of dishes to pick from, buffet style, and they change the menu intermittently. Would definitely stay again

I booked 4 nights at the Melia to chill and relax. Prior to arrival i emailed and asked if the Junior Suites (only a small price to upgrade when booking hence choosing this category) were all on higher floors but got no response to this question, a bland 'your requests have been noted' even though I did not make a request was emailed back! On checking in late evening I queried the allocated room number starting with a zero and was told it wasn't ground floor but one and half up. Mmm, it was on the first floor up 9 steps with no lift access. I wasn't asked if I was ok with no lift access. The room was lovely, modern style, well equipped, Rituals toiletries, beautiful bedlinen. I had views of sunrise which were stunning. The bed was unfortunately like sleeping on concrete but after speaking to reception a mattress topper was added which improved the comfort. There were no bathrobes/slippers in the room which I thought was just an oversight. Again I spoke to reception and they said you had to request them?? Bizarre as Jet2 advertise the room as having bathrobe and slippers. It was advertised as a Junior Suite, these should have been placed in the room prior to arrival in my opinion. Whilst there is a double locking system on the bedroom doors there is no security chain or peep hole. The location of the hotel is excellent, around 10/15 minutes walk to the main area in Santa Eulalia. Much improvement could be made around the food offering. All quite basic and limited. Even the croissants at breakfast didn't feel fresh. Only fruit juice available was orange. In the evening I noticed there was no ice cream choice (basic) and when I asked I was told that strawberry and chocolate were available. Ok could I have that please. My request arrived and I didn't recognise the chocolate serving. The taste was very unusual and not recognisable. I enquired with staff and was told there was no chocolate so they gave me this which I was told was coffee and something else.....I found this unacceptable. It was put in front of me with no communication or explanation and not what I ordered. I asked to speak to the manager but their apologies and goodwill gesture of refunding my bottle of water was conveyed to me by the lovely staff member. On more than one occasion there was only one waiting member of staff who worked constantly clearing tables, fixing the broken coffee machine etc. I had two wonderful treatments at the Thai Spa within the hotel. Both were given to me by Marlin who was excellent. The public areas are well kept and I loved the modern style of the hotel (perhaps with the exception of the bright yellow sculpture in reception but that's personal choice). In summary I hope Melia improve this hotel, it has a fab location, wonderful staff, excellent rooms, just some areas needing attention and improved communication.

The service is excellent, as are the facilities. They also give you the possibility, the day you leave, to spend the whole day in the hotel and take a shower before leaving (they provide you with towels, shampoo...). The location is good, it is not the center of Ibiza but it is very close to Cala Gracioneta and Cala Saladeta, supermarkets and all kinds of services.

The best hotel i have ever stayed. Choose all-inclusive option. The pool is spacious and the hotel ambiance is rather chill and relaxing, which I really liked. The staffs are very attentive. There's a drinking water station/purifier at every floor and you can refill the water bottle - this was the best part of the stay. Had an amazing time!! Highly recommended.
