Wow! What a beautiful place to break up a long journey, absolute bliss, superb service from Peter & Edith, arrived to a wine in the garden, left after a scrumptious breakfast, wish we could stay longer, will be back. Lovely break in mid France en route to Paris for Olympics.

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Wer die Ruhe und die Erholung sucht ist dort genau richtig. Ein tolles Frühstück vom Chef selber zubereitet. Er hatte sehr gute Essens Empfehlungen für uns bereit. Kein Stress, nur Erholsam. Das Auto vor der Türe und keine Parkplatzkosten.

Super!!! Fermativi a cena e potrete gustare un'ottimo cibo preparato con amore, un ambiente speciale e un'accoglienza superlativa da parte Peter ed Edith, padroni di casa eccellenti. Inoltre le camere sono spaziose, arredate con buon gusto. Infine, la colazione è all'altezza delle aspettative! Grazie per la splendida esperienza!

Deze plek voelt als thuis. En dat is het mooiste compliment dat ik kan geven, want nooit eerder heb ik dat op deze manier ergens anders ervaren. Toen ik aankwam na de lange reis uit Nederland, had Edith kostelijk voor me gekookt en kon ik zo aanschuiven. Met Peter zocht ik een passende wijn uit van een prachtig wijnhuis vlakbij. Hun gastvrijheid is zo warm en bijzonder: het maakt deze plek onderscheidend. In de gîte waar ik verbleef, de Boulangerie, ontbrak het mij aan niets. Ik kon de houtkachel aanmaken en in mijn heerlijke luie stoel nagenieten van de dag. Het bed slaapt heerlijk en de sterrenhemel en de maan zo prachtig zichtbaar. De kipjes scharrelen rond, zorgen voor een vers eitje bij het heerlijke ontbijt (met home made Deens brood van de heer des huizes!), het lieve en slimme hondje Saartje komt je vrolijk begroeten... Als je zin hebt in gezelschap dan ben je heel welkom, en als je alleen wilt zijn dan is daar ook ruimte voor. Dit is een paradijs waar ik nog vaak terug hoop te komen. Want ook de streek is zo ongelooflijk mooi, met de glooiende heuvels, de solitaire eiken en de meidoornhaagjes. Warm aanbevolen dus!

Évacués de l' A 71 après 4 heures de bouchon suite à un accident sur l autoroute, on a cherché un hébergement avant de repartir vers la Savoie . Le hasard a bien fait les choses . Tout est bien : le cadre , les plats , l accueil, les tarifs ...le calme impressionnant. En espérant y retourner de façon volontaire cette fois ci . Merci.

Une belle maison de maître très bien rénovée avec de superbes grandes pièces très joliment décorées. Accueil chaleureux avec un bon verre de vin. Grande chambre très agréable. Seul défaut à noter: insonorisation imparfaite entre les chambres au 1er. À améliorer. Une très bonne étape à découvrir pour les voyageurs Est-Ouest ou Nord Sud de la France notamment.

In the middle of nowhere, at the end of the world, and yet absolutely worth going to. A spectacular and tasteful renovation of an old manor. The most sumptuous breakfast we’ve ever been offered. And a very friendly couple that redefines the “host” concept. Need I say more?
