Inn at Bellefield / Hyde Park

The eggs and sausage in the breakfast buffet were COLD, not lukewarm, but cold. There was only one ice machine in the whole building, near to lobby. Only one of the 2 elevators was working. When I mentioned that the cover for the peep hole in the room's door would not close, I was met with a totally blank stare. Room was nice and very clean. Could have used more than one teabag.

This hotel is very beautiful and quiet. Our room was amazing: the kitchen had a full refrigerator, the sitting area was very comfortable, and the bed was one of the best I've slept in at a hotel. I only wish that the shower in the bathroom had a full door rather than a half glass wall. No matter what you do, the water gets out and it's hard to stay warm without a closing door. I didn't care for the restaurant very much, but the rest of the hotel was wonderful. The exercise room is extremely well-equipped for those who want to get a workout in while traveling.

GREAT place! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfy, pillows were awesome, such a large, comfortable room. Very good breakfast, lots of choices. Drinks, snacks or food at the lobby restaurant - open but cozy. Super nice reception and wait staff. Can't figure out the flameless pretty fireplace, fun (: CIA is so close you could walk. Perfect for lunch or dinner at one of the CIA 3 restaurants or the pub.

Our experience at this wonderful hotel was so great. The staff was very kind and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully displayed. The room was spacious, well laid out, well equipped, clean, and handsome. We interacted a lot with Liz and Eric at the front desk and both were so nice and accommodating! We were very happy with our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Bellefield from May 7th to May 10th. This hotel is a really nice place. The pictures on the website are exactly how it looks. The Inn is absolutely beautiful and so spotless which is very important to me. Check in took a little bit of time because our room wasn't ready, but that was ok. The lady at the front desk was so nice and professional, I think her name was Lamoya. In addition, the whole staff were great, always so friendly, helpful and smiling. We were in room 302 which was a one bedroom king suite. The suite had a full kitchen with a full stove (I didn't cook), but for those that do, it's a great feature to have. It also had a small dishwasher, a small full size fridge, plenty of counter space and all the pots, pans, utensils, plates, and glasses, etc. that you would need. The only thing that was wrong, was the ice maker in the freezer didn't work. I put the switch to ON, but for the 3 nights that we were there, it didn't make 1 cube. There was an ice tray so I used that. Another thing that I didn't like, that there was no walk in shower, even though I requested it. I am a senior citizen and I find taking showers in bathtubs a bit slippery. There was a grab bar, but I feel there should have been another one in the middle of the wall of the bathtub, and maybe one of those rubber mats to put down on the floor of the tub to make it non slippery. I had to put down a towel which helped a bit. I didn't care for the bed so much as I found it too soft and it hurt my back. Other than that, the suite was really great. The suite was spotless and really nice and housekeeping was great!! We requested service for both nights and received it. The housekeepers did an amazing job! Thank you! We had dinner the first night at the Storyteller's Lounge and it was really nice. My husband and I ate at the bar. We had a couple glasses of wine and stuffed dates with goat cheese for an appetizer which were great. For our entrees, I had the salmon (see attached pic) which was delicious, and my husband had the lamb chops which he also loved. Patrick was the bartender/waiter and he was great! My husband used the gym and he thought it was great, very clean, and the equipment worked. The only thing he would have wanted was a pool, unfortunately, they didn't have it. I highly recommend The Inn at Bellefield, if you are the Hyde Park area.
