A bit too pricey for the value. Expected a better cooling system in rooms, it was too hot for the summer period and the fan provided was not sufficient to cool the room. Might be different or better experience in winter though.

Very clean room, smiling staff. There is a delicious coffee shop in the accommodation. In the evening there is a bar to sit and drink again.

We had a lovely stay and made to feel very welcome on arrival. We were brought up 2 small bottles of prosecco to our room as I had mentioned it was our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Gluten free options available at breakfast, including bread and cereal, which was great!

I booked this hotel for the night as I had a ticket to a gig at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. I would definitely book again if I attend any further events in Manchester. The staff here are very helpful and friendly which means a lot as I am disabled and have difficulty moving around. Checking in and out was quick and simple and I was happy to find several disabled bay parking spaces right outside the front door. The accessible room I had booked was disappointing, it was really small and there was not enough space between the bed and the desk for me to walk with my rollator which made getting around difficult. Also because the room was so small, the one side of the double bed was pushed against the wall. I was staying on my own, but if I had been staying with someone else, then one of us would have been climbing over the other to get out of bed. The bathroom on the other hand was great, plenty of room and a lovely big walk in shower. Breakfast was ok, the scrambled egg was a strange colour and very dry and the only pastries on offer was one croissant, everything else was good and the fruit salad was a good mix of fresh fruit. I didn't get any names of the staff at the hotel, but they were all friendly and welcoming. I booked the hotel last minute on the same day I was staying and spoke to Neve on the phone as I was having problems booking on line. She was extremely helpful and patient and helped get my booking sorted out, arranged for me to have an accessible room and even gave me my room number while I was making the booking. I would happily stay here again and the staff are a credit to the company.

Stayed in a few of these hotels around the country and they always do the job. Staff friendly throughout, check in smooth and was told this was the original village hotel! Room didn’t have air con which concerned me at first but it did say pretty cool on a hot day and a fan was provided One negative was the toilet hadn’t been flushed Breakfast was a tad expensive for what it was but a very friendly girl by the bar who I didn’t catch the name of was really good to talk to and wished me a happy birthday. I hope you get over your fear of trains soon if you read this! Didn’t get a chance to swim but the pool looked reallly good. Location is close to Hyde north station and only 15 minutes from Piccadilly so I would stay here rather than central Manchester for a good nights sleep.

Chosen due to location. Checking in was good, a little informal but efficient. The swimming pool is very good, and bigger than I expected. Free WiFi, free parking and breakfast buffet hot and cold included in my price. It’s a little tired, needs an update but still worth the money. The room wasn’t cleaned, not sure why but I wasn’t the only one. Good size but can get noisy from the main road. Another hotel that is full of builders vans, so beware parking is not easy. There is an overload car park that you can use though. Nothing much around locally so the bar is your only real option. Food is good, but over priced.

Fantastic little hotel . Stayed with my husband for the second year . Staff are amazing. Nothing too much trouble . We even got left a card and some prosecco in our room as it was our anniversary . Breakfast was lovely and the pub and grill was good too . The staff thier work thier little butts off specially the scouse lady . One negative is the rooms by the pool are unbelievably hot . You do get a fan but it’s still not enough .

Just had a lovely afternoon tea at the Village Hyde, it was for members served by Rachel and Dawn. It was delicious, pies, sandwiches, scones and cake. Prosecco/tea and coffee. What more could you ask for after doing exercise. Many thanks once again to Rachel and Dawn.

Slept well in comfy bed with sheets that too small and dont tuck in. Staff good and parking plentiful. However no mention until you arrive parking is £5. Breakfast is basic and powdered eggs, cold sausage and fatty bacon. Hotel needs to show more attention to detail as it really is not even to premier inn standards. Facilities are good. See picture of room window and temp rooms was very warm despite 15 deg outside
