Heritage House Inn on Cape Cod

The rooms were filthy… the pictures on their website and other sites are totally misleading… rooms look nothing like the images at all… not even remotely close…claims they were updated a year ago… well if it was the got ripped off.. walled and saw a bug walking across the tv stand… tv didn’t work toilet seats were loose… rooms were filthy… spilled food on the sticky floors… we had 2 rooms and both were just as bad as the other… there’s a comfort inn next door owned by the same guy in much better condition but they won’t move you over there… spend your money elsewhere… asked to have someone come to at least tighten the the toilets seats… as I was explaining to the people in the second room we booked a guy comes down the hallway and I asked if he was the maintenance man he said no and said he was something else and walked right between us into the other persons room without identifying himself and stating what he was there for of which an argument ensued as he felt he had the right to walk in a room that his wife was in and daughter… this is ridiculous… I would never recommend this place or return here again

I was called before I arrived and told to check in at a Comfort Inn. When I checked in they couldn’t find my reservation because it wasn’t for the Comfort Inn, it was for the Heritage Inn. They finally found it. Place looks like it’s in a constant state of (very cheap) repair. There were no rugs in our building, and the walls are paper thin; so you hear absolutely everything going on around you. The remote for the TV didn’t work, there was no closet, the toilet needed repair when we first came in, and the lights are too few, or too dim- my wife said it was like doing her makeup in the dark. The “breakfast” was horrible; Cardboard muffins, Luke-warm water for tea. The shower was nice

We stay in Hyannis for a night before getting the ferry to Nantucket. This is the first place we have stayed that we would stay again. Nicely updated and the staff is very helpful. Great location to the ferry.

Not worth and overall a bad experience First of all, front desk is with comfort inn, the doors at Heritage inn was closed and noone there to guide us to check in. We checked google and went to comfort inn for check in. Room was not so good and fresh, furnitures were all damaged, water was not coming in wash basin, hand showers not available, Overall it's not worth for the dollars paid.

The problem started with getting there. You have to go through the comfort inn parking lot. After driving around the block a few times I called and the person who answered said just come in to comfort inn to check in. I should’ve been told that in advance. So now that we’re there the check-in went rather smoothly and we go to our room. Average room didn’t seem bad Until I went to make a cup of coffee. There was an old moldy coffee packet in the coffee machine . We had reserve two nights so we stayed the second night. We would’ve expected clean towels the next day didn’t happen nobody came to clean the room put new towels or replace the coffee that I had used or clean the coffee pot . Also it was made quite clear that we were not invited to breakfast at the comfort inn. even though the comfort inn seems to be in charge and work collaboratively with Heritage Inn.
