Heritage House Inn on Cape Cod

The rooms were filthy… the pictures on their website and other sites are totally misleading… rooms look nothing like the images at all… not even remotely close…claims they were updated a year ago… well if it was the got ripped off.. walled and saw a bug walking across the tv stand… tv didn’t work toilet seats were loose… rooms were filthy… spilled food on the sticky floors… we had 2 rooms and both were just as bad as the other… there’s a comfort inn next door owned by the same guy in much better condition but they won’t move you over there… spend your money elsewhere… asked to have someone come to at least tighten the the toilets seats… as I was explaining to the people in the second room we booked a guy comes down the hallway and I asked if he was the maintenance man he said no and said he was something else and walked right between us into the other persons room without identifying himself and stating what he was there for of which an argument ensued as he felt he had the right to walk in a room that his wife was in and daughter… this is ridiculous… I would never recommend this place or return here again

Heritage House Hotel Hyannis - Hskp. Nightmare When I first arrived the room, halls, property, and amenities were great. On the 2nd day beds were shabbily made with covers just pulled over. We would have complained but there was a cable interruption that resulted in the Comfort Inn getting evacuated & fire trucks to arrive. We figured that our complaint was small compared to what they were dealing with. The 2nd day beds were not made at all, tables and sinks were not wiped and no coffee left behind. We complained to desk with pictures. The next day was fine. On Thursday, no one entered our room at all and wet towels were left on bathroom floor. Every time I went to desk, no manager was available, only desk attendants. We had plenty of pictures. Friday night, things were good after I had to retrieve towels, coffee, trash bags from the front desk on Thursday. I had to empty trash, put towels in the hallway. During checkout, I wanted to talk with a manager to discuss some type of compensation due to the poor housekeeping throughout the week. Again, no manager By the way, I am a Cleaning Inspector and account Supervisor for over 400+ accounts. I was more than disgusted with the housekeeping services! I still thing I deserve some type of compensation for dealing with the lack of customer service in the room concerning housekeeping. Your Chamber maids need to be retrained and held accountable. I also suffer getting cleaners, but my customers always get what they pay for immediately. Your Hotel wasn't cheap! We have more pics.

It was a little hard to find at first. A bit old and dated. A revamp would probably benefit it.

Great Value for the Cape Room was good. Key did not open the lock well. It was a real chore to get into the room. Front Staff was informed when I left. You have to check in at the Comfort Inn which was a little weird but ok.
