We recently spend a week at Little Green Bay in Hvar, Croatia and had the absolute BEST time! Our vacation began when our driver - arranged by LGB - picked us up from the airport and whisked us off to a waiting boat where we cast aside our luggage and promptly began enjoying the scenery. In just under an hour, we disembarked on the charming dock at LIttle Green Bay! The hotel is situated in a beautiful cove that feels simultaneously private and convivial. Our room was lovely - with a comfortable bed, good linens, and a view of the Adriatic see. It would be easy to spend a week lounging seaside and enjoying the good restaurant and snorkeling on site but it would be a crime not to allow the concierge to organize at least one of the wonderful excursions that are available. While at LGB we made use of their daily shuttle to Hvar Town. We took three excursions organized by the hotel and we recommend them all highly. We took a bike tour of the UNESCO protected island, through vineyards and ancient olive groves. We did a day long fishing excursion and ate our catch for dinner, and we chartered a boat that took us island hopping, snorkeling, to a magical lunch on a secluded island, and a wine tasting. The tour guides on all of our excursion were thoughtful, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing their island with us. Similarly, the staff at the hotel were all friendly, warm, and happy to offer recommendations and assist with reservations. If it sounds like our stay at Little Green Bay was luxurious, relaxing, educational and fun, that’s because it was all this and more. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!!

We had high expectations and the Little Green Bay surpassed all of them. We woke up in the morning, jumped in the clearest of waters with our snorkels, then had a relaxing delicious breakfast on the deck. We were fortunate enough to also go out on a fishing boat that Marta at the hotel set up and even ate our catch for dinner! We will definitely be back. Also if you like to bike definitely go on the bike tour with or without electric bikes

From the moment you head down the dirt track and the bat opens out to your eyes, your feel calmed. It’s a beautiful spot and the accommodation is very chic - Fran and Marta were so friendly and helpful and made us feel not only welcome but also very special as did all the team inc Robbie and Ivan who were constantly checking if we needed anything whilst we were relaxing on the beach. The pictures do not do the green of the bay justice - it has to be seen. It’s very tranquil and peaceful.

The team at LGB are so friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness, quality of the food (and coffee!), position - all of it magnificent. Swimming in the bay, the quietness, peace and being in nature here humbles you and makes you grateful. There is a free shuttle in the evening into the port which is only 10 minutes away. Honestly, it’s paradise!!

Just steps outside your room, the crystal clear ocean is what you expect from a movie scene. The staff is absolutely amazing, Dorian made our stay perfect. The restaurant onsite was incredible, get the sea bass! Coming from LA, this is the ultimate getaway.

The price/quality ratio of this hotel is very disappointing. While the location is very beautiful and quiet, the coast is very wild. The room is spacious with a beautiful terrace with a sea view. However, 750 euros per night with breakfast is overpriced for a result far from what we expected. The service is non-existent, the breakfast is very disappointing. You have to add 10 euros for an orange juice. The hotel and the rooms are not maintained. The hotel manager was not present in the middle of August, leaving his teams, although friendly, to their own devices. There are no bottles of water in the rooms. The extras and the restaurant are very expensive. The overall impression is that this hotel, despite its reputation, is clearly losing visitors, especially without a captain on board.

A still-preserved natural site, but the experience is astoundingly mediocre. In short, the rooms are very uneven, a real lottery. Some are dark and almost blind, with the great joy of enjoying the passage and conversations of guests and other visitors to the beach, which is not private. Our room (large with a very beautiful terrace) was extremely dirty (windows, floors), and we had to constantly coexist with tiger mosquitoes in abundance. Simple and very expensive cuisine with sometimes surprising wait times, such as a 30-minute wait for a morning espresso. A friendly, lost, and unmotivated team. No laundry (we had to come back several times to find a solution), no beach service, no signed bills for meals and extras (many errors noted)... A non-hotel as advertised on the website, perhaps the only promise kept. Will I go back? NO!

The experience at this hotel is a disaster; the location is exceptional, what a waste! The breakfast, very average, includes a drink; if you order coffee and orange juice, you will have to pay 10 euros more. No laundry, no service, even if the staff present (understaffed) does their best. The bill? 6000 EUR for 2 rooms over 4 days, the cleaning was never done during our stay, just the bed remade. How can I say that? The shower mat had a huge bleach stain that stayed with us for 4 days. No management, no questioning, an establishment that is going to the wall.
